I can't help myself but share that fools post with the correct use of the English language and also something more akin to reality. The 25th for robotech fandom and what happened! We are going to look back on everything that happend BID this year and might even give a little update or too. We will be looking at ... - how I made an ass of myself in MW - Tom Bateman and his script, which I also copy and pasted from MW - The outing of the macross purist...versus my outing as a turd - UEG's attempt at providing fans something new with robotech genesis and HG's squashing C & D. - Other fallen would be robotech fan members thanks to zealots like me and lack of any type of quality product - the death of Carl and what it means to robotech....nothing as the current creative staff are happy to cash in on a corpse. There we go, now I feel better..would love to hear you on a podcast, if only to laugh at how probably there will be more people from this forum then any other listening.

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series
Zor Primus replied to BoBe-Patt's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
What an awesome episode...Dooku rocked...period. I think they handled the Nightsisters very well, kudos to Katie Lucas for that. Dathomir was right on the money. The Witches voices reminded me a bit of the Bene Gesserit. They had that raspy echo following each sentence. Nice effect imo. Now we have to see some mounted on Rancors This is definitely a great start to the second half. Finally a decent space battle! Although I am hoping we get to see the ETA-2's in action soon. Would hate to only see it for the opening scene of Ep 3 and some from the original Clone Wars series.- 1217 replies

Are we going to have to wait for a zombie apocalypse for him to have enough time to read this script?

Star Wars Saga gets 3D Love in 2012
Zor Primus replied to Zor Primus's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Here's a little Force mysticism for you to think about. When Padme was about to go, Obi-wan had Luke in his arms when he leaned close to hear her say, "There is good in him, still..." Could his mom's last words been buried in his sub-conciousness? Force knows! -
If you open the wallet a voice starts to whisper..."Robotech is chicken soup for the soul" within days you begin to wither away, but not before you give the wallet to someone else and the vile process begins anew. Kinda like The Ring...only this time a pair of boobies will devour you at the end.

Star Wars Saga gets 3D Love in 2012
Zor Primus replied to Zor Primus's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Vader wasn't beyond repair, he had only lost part of an arm that was already lost even before Mustafar. The irony that it was the same wound as Luke's was a nice touch. Palps Lightning fried his entire life support and that was the killing blow. YUB! YUB! -
This reply probably belongs in another thread but to quickly comment on your love triangle opinion. I believe the Alto/Ranka/Sheryl triangle was by far more complex then Hikaru/Misa/Minmay. There was no mystery at all behind it, on the contrary it was pretty straight forward...anyways back on topic. That wallet is soooooooooo cheese I think people in Wisconsin are calling HG for the recipe. I'm one of those fans who wants more Southern Cross! An MPC Hovertank or AJAC would be a dream come true, of course it'll never happen.

Favorite VF pilot? (not necessarily the best)
Zor Primus replied to Xx-SKULL-ONE-xX's topic in Movies and TV Series
Great pic of Sylvie. Always thought her freckles were so cute. She'd be my second choice....I voted for Hikaru. Flying was his life prior to Space War 1 and his skills earned him many merits. I can only imagine the incredible achievements he did with the Lightning...oh and Misa was a great take home prize too -

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series
Zor Primus replied to BoBe-Patt's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Wow...the first half of the season might be just a footnote in Republic politics after what is to come... ...so a nice twist as to what we all have thought what her destiny was to be.- 1217 replies

Best quote ever! I'm with Jason and JT...RT fans who not only enjoy Macross but have no qualm at all with either side of the debate. Guess we should form our own Oddball baseball team... At this point what basis is there really for any debate. Recent history is enough to say, Macross Frontier > Shadow Chronicles. A fully animated 25 episode series with superior animation, characters, story, production. Lets not even count the series, False Diva all on its own is much better. And this is not to thrash RT, there could be so much more that can be done with RT but sadly the peeps at the head of that ship have already torpedoed the franchise to be a mockery of what the vast majority expect it to be. Had I known back in 1986 when I tuned into WPIX Channel 11 in NY that my favorite cartoon would turn into what it became...well who knows.

I saw Sean Penn in the cast of characters and decided not to waste my time with the trailer.

I'm one of the few fans that would have liked to see the Sentinels. It was original in the sense that it didn't borrow (much) from Japan and it continued what many saw as the best of the 3 gens. I think I mentioned this in a past post, but as a fan who read the novels and liked them I went with new material rather then thrash it and say it sucked. For a long time the Mckinney novels was all RT fans had. Its like if Macross fans thrashed M7, M+ and MF only because it didn't fit their idea of a sequel...thats how many RT fans bashed anything that wasn't in the 85 eps. They should have enjoyed what they got from anywhere, considering HG was catatonic for 20 years and later tried to revive itself with Shadow Chronics...which we all know how that went. To be honest I enjoyed more the Prelude comic series then the actual movie that came later.

My game froze at least 3 times already...no improvement there. Yes, I did leave out the load time improvement, especially when changing costumes. As for leveling up, I've already managed to power all my Force powers, did it second run on Hard. Again, the lack of planets made it feel more like an Expansion rather then a sequel...the game was much shorter then the original. That was my problem.

Ok so I bought and finished TFU2 over the holidays, and I must say that I'm not even close to how I felt after finishing part 1. To start this should have been a DLC...I finished the game on normal difficulty in under 8 hours and thats with getting a good chunk of medals out of the way on the first run. In the original game there were 10 locations Starkiller travelled to, giving tons of areas to explore, this expansion (because it warrants no greater recognition) only has 5...Dagobah almost doesn't count! Game play did improve, especially with Force grip. I found myself getting a little annoyed when trying to target enemies in the air my Force lightning or push would shoot the completely opposite direction. Also was able to finish the game on hard difficulty, much more of a challenge, but definitely not impossible, looking forward to playing on "unleashed". Although spamming Mind Trick might be a cheap way to go, it makes life much easier as you get zerged by Stormtroopers. As far as the story goes, Starkiller went from being a torn Sith/Jedi to a cloned romantic with the Force. The initial teaser misled me by showing a conflict between his Dark and Light side, something I was expecting to play through in game, another failure. Now it was not all bad, there were very well placed continuity pieces in game that made me smile. First was the Z-95 Headhunters shown when the Rogue Shadow arrived to Eclipse's Rebel Fleet. The Headhunters were the precursor to the X-wing and share the same design sans the X-foils. Also on Cado Neimoidia the PA's retelling of the Clone Wars as Imperial Propaganda seemed fitting for a former CIS planet. And this key piece of Star Wars "missing link" history...I'll leave this up to all of you to get into the debate. I give it 3 out 5 stars, hopefully more DLC's will make it worth while. Endor was fun to play, slaughtering Ewoks is always a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Trek jumped the shark when it became Time Travel Trek...it was like watching the Terminator with spaceships...Enterprise crashed and burned when they introduced the Borg.

Picked up the first volume collection this week, look forward to getting to know the original story lines. I'm thinking this show plus the inevitable release of World War Z is going to redefine the genre and make some forget the shamble that were the later Resident Evil movies. 1 & 2 stuck close to the game enough to warrant a positive nod.
