    The Vong would be an amazing way to go post ROTJ...you'll have all of the next generation characters playing key roles throughout that war. Although for those who are not Star Wars readers will more then likely not like the fact that the New Republic is being invaded by aliens that use bugs as weapons, I can see it now...STAR WARS vs STARSHIP TROOPERS!

    Meh...this is the gripe I have with CW. If it was such an epic war Lucas should have had the forethought to make it at the bare minimum 5 years long. Maul as a robot=bad comedy.

    Robotech wasn't my first exposure to anime. Old Mazinger Z comics I used to read got me first into the genre. Robotech was the first series I saw with a more mature (at the time) then GI Joe. Loved the show and wanted more. I had known it was three seperate series but never was even close to see the original material. After that I watched DYRL via a Clash of the Bionoids VHS...yeah, lets leave that one alone. Years later I wasn't privy to much anime other then sporadic movies I'd buy at comic conventions. Oddly enough Macross II was the first Macross series I saw post Robotech. After that I wanted more! Then I saw Macross 7...and retreated away from Macross until Plus redeemed the franchise in my eyes. The original SDFM was the very last series for me to have watched and it pretty much left what was left of my Robotech fandom in a nostalgic light. Like Keith said the dialog alone is hard to re-watch at our age. Shadow Chronicles was a complete disappointment and any follow up storyline would have to go a looooooooong way to impress me. The nostalgia keeps me hoping for something good, but I've been jaded by so many facts and observations I hadn't seen before that it'll be hard to change my view on Robotech and the current direction it is in.

    Wow...sad to see it go out of print...it was THE source of info/pricing for comics. Ironically they started round about the time when I started collecting. Granted it outlived my comic collecting though.

    To their defense, Obi-wan could chalk up this as a vision. Yoda was going to instruct him how to commune with Qui-gon. All depends on the dialog now, I hope they remember...as for my previous post. Guess I won't get what I wanted Great episode last night, amazing duel. I want to hire Opress as a lightning rod lol

    Anakin would have turned out so different had Qui-gon stuck around as a ghost for him...Yoda was right about having doubts in Obi-wan's ability to teach...that miscalculation was the beginning of the end of the Jedi. My idea for epic would be that Qui-gon appears to Anakin and at first all would be peaches and cream, then something happens that would make Anakin go against his first master's advice and instead do something...dark...we need some more random examples of fear, hate, anger...revenge...

    Director: Matthew Vaughn Writers: Jane Goldman (screenplay), Ashley Miller (screenplay) Stars: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence Shaw should be an awesome villain, really liked that they picked Bacon for the part. I just found out about this today...jeeze and it comes out in June, I fail as a geek... weird there isn't a teaser trailer out there yet.

    Nice...Hathaway is hawt, good eye candy for the movie. Get ready for the love drama that is sure to come between Bats/Cats & Bruce/Selena. Just hope they do a better job this time around with Bane...his original movie debut was pathetic and a spit in the face to his comic counterpart.

    Feel pity my friends that all that they have going for them right now is the rumor/belief/hope/conspiracy that EDF is a RTLAM. Since nothing else is going on what else could there be. I had my share of hope when rt.com first came online that it was the beginning of something great for fans after so many years outside of the picture. That fire died to an ember around 2004'ish...then when Shadow Chronicles was announced and later released my disappointed only increased and faith in the future of my favorite show as a kid was dashed away. I saw on FB that Tommy and Kevin were going to have some announcement at a show in San Fran...wonder what that could have been. Probably more of the same "stringing the audience along" speak.

    Yes indeed, good episode! Although I'm a little skeptical of Savage's Force powers...or lack thereof. Instant power through ritual? Neat trick, good thing the Nightsisters like to keep to themselves. To add onto the Witches art and style, I'd like to share the way I saw the Nightsisters for many years in SWG. You can tell they must have looked this way when they were designing what we've seen in Clone Wars. On the flip side I guess they didn't read The Courtship of Princess Leia since we never got to see any mounted on Rancors
