    Why cover up the VF-171 with armor parts when it looks so good under correct lighting? Blue-green that is and not light green as seen in some photos.

    $120 isn't so bad as a value for a used plastic toy... most Macross fans are spoilt with VT-1's and VE-1's and VF-1D Virgin Road's and VF-4G's going for a premium.

    I have never transformed mine though I bought it used on Mandarake, no visible cracks on the black triangles though... knock on wood.

    Yeah and I also think that it looks similar to the VF-25F plus that I missed the pre-orders so I might not pick one up at all and I really don't feel like paying $200 for this one.

    Yep there probably will be a RVF-171 after the RVF-171EX.

    Yeah, if the -S variant really is a downgrade then call it the VF-4J. Seto Kaiba... in my mind the -S still stands for the model that the aces fly.

    VF-0S, VF-1S, VF-17S, VF-19S, VF-22S, VF-25S... that's more than just a couple.

    I had that one but was dissapointed in that the fingers wouldn't stay in place in a sort of menacing way so I sold it.

    Well, I have said my piece on what needs to be done if we are ever going to get a VF-2SS valk from Arcadia or Bandai.

    The VF-2SS looks like it would have excellent maneuverability in an atmosphere. And it should have since it's basically a futuristic looking VF-1.

    Ah ok... I thought that the VF-4S was a high-performance version like the VF-1S and it should be just like that. Seriously whats the point in having an atmosphere only and carrier based VF-4 when it's all about space in the Macross universe after SDFM/DYRL?

    The VF-17 doesn't have the VF-2SS maneuverability... stealth designs tends to lack in that department.

    Just ditch the oversized railcannon and replace it with two smaller beam cannons. And as for the four reaction engines... yeah this is THE valk for the ace pilots in the 2030's.

    The S version would look even better an yeah I know of that game but it's pretty obscure don't you think?

    Yeah, if I was any good at painting stuff besides a wooden fence then I would do it.

    Theres no pictures on this since it doesn't exist in any anime but logically this is what Miriya would have piloted in the period after SDFM and DYRL but think of it as a red VF-4G with a different head that also has a single head laser.

    The Arcadia VF-1S Roy and Hikaru got released back in December so would that count towards the limit on what Arcadia are going to release in 2014? Anyways... Mr. Kawamori showed a picture of a tailfin painted partially in a green colour so thats why I'm hoping for this valk to be made by Arcadia this year or the next.
