    hehehe, newly updated 1/48 armored shelf plus Rohby JM2.0 I remembered the cool Stealth Thunder Hammer SD pic and wanted to recreate it so i put my original TH on a stealth valk. GOLD VISOR!! haha Here's the SD TH pic i was referring to: Minmei Guard Thunder Hammer plus Rohby Joke Machine 2.0.... holy grails of my collection now!!!

    Sorry folks, i might need to retract my previous statement and change the date for the Con. I just received a family invite for a wedding that i MUST attend that weekend. Looks like we might move it the following weekend in September. I'll keep everyone posted but it should be around the same timeframe. I'm visiting the site of the con (Concept Cube) this weekend and should have some more details about the con in the next week or so. thanks for your patience guys! I just had my 1st child back in December (which is the main reason why I didn't plan a con last year).... but i'm back to it. =] Future Macross fans in the making

    I'll make an official announcement soon, but looks like we are aiming to host this the weekend of August 25-26. I'll update the 1st post once we've confirmed. Also, sadly there won't be any Mari this year as of now. She's committed to other 30th anniversary Macross events in Japan.

    Kicker!!!! Stop messin with ur photobucket pics!! Hahhaa, I always check this thread a few days later and then your pic links are all dead. Can you edit those posts and fix the link pics?? As for posting updates for my collection, I'm waiting for a new centerpiece to arrive that will be my holy grail. Pics to come soon!

    can't believe how much this thread has taken off and everyone sharing their pics! funny how it all gets inspiring to see others posting their collection displays. I can't purchase any new toys anymore without thinking of how it will effect my display and i'm sure some of you are the same way. I don't have too many updates from my collection these days since i'm pretty much done with what i can afford. Plus i don't have anymore more space!!! the dreaded problem for collection displayers... I've really been collecting a lot more Transformers as of late, but they don't nearly get as much love as the macross stuff =]

    I just got my hands on this toy (thanks Archer!) and finished transforming it for the 1st time. I'm not much a fire valk fan, but this has got to be the BEST yamato valk ever constructed. It just feels so solid in my hands and sturdy! There's quite a bit of heft on this bad boy and it's super well constructed. I'm really amazed at the engineering that went into the toy to get it to fit seamlessly in fighter mode and still have bulk and mobility in battroid! Maybe this has all been said before, but it's definitely made me a believer of this mold and i wouldn't hesitate getting any other future releases of this mold. It's just a solid win! As much as i hate to admit, i'm on the bandwagon now to hoping the YF-19 from Mac Plus gets an update like this!!

    Sorry but i tried to get something going with Curamen from TFW to host a mini convention at his place in Long Beach, CA but we were never really able to connect. That and i've become extremely busy with work and am actually expecting our first child soon. =] i pretty much don't have to will to be the lead in planning any more MW cons, so if Jason or Daisuke or someone really wants to take the lead, please go ahead and i'll support you guys as much as i can! Can't say about next year either, but again, my MW con man days are pretty much behind me. Sorry to disappoint! But i'm sure we'll have MW Cons again sometime and somewhere

    Nice displays Kicker!!! are you using acrylic display stands to give you the different heights on your displays? Love all the different CM's figs that you included in the display. Looks good and NOT too cluttered which is what i run into with my displays Keep the pics coming!!!! Show and tell is the best part of displaying your toys =]

    FINALLY!!!! great display room Kicker!!! and you're still using of those custom Detolf cabinets =] Room looks fantastic and i'd love to see pics of each individual shelf as well. I'd love to get nice display cabinets like these if i had the money, but my detolf displays will have to do. thanks for sharing!

    nice pics MS! Do you ever worry about the toys on your top shelf getting knocked over or falling down? I always get hesitant to put my expensive prized toys on a top shelf where they could potentially fall Depends on the display, but i have some of my CM's figs to go along with my Valks and toys. As long as it looks clean and simple, then i think it can enhance your display.

    Nice displays folks!! love to see other people display their toys. I tried to keep my collection spaced out and fairly orderly, but i miss out on getting some of the dynamic poses that you have. I actually used some ferrero rocher boxes too for my top shelf, but for inside my display cases, i have acrylic risers. If you're willing to spend $100 on a valk, then you should be willing to spend $100 on these to make your display nicer: http://thefixturezone.com/acecriseqt.html Great investment as i'm REALLY into displaying my toys instead of just boxing them up somewhere. I guess i gotta buy some more stands soon. =]
