I've had these Takatoku paro valkyries for awhile now and always thought they were a bit strange because they have 1S heads on 1J body types. Has anyone ever seen these before? Here's some comparison pics to the Toynami morphers but i always wondered if these were unique or if they were common to have 1S heads on all the types. I'm selling a lot that includes these HERE But yea... always wanted to know more about these.... any info from anyone??

saw the 6 min bank robbery preview of the Dark Knight in IMAX for I Am Legend and he was frickin awesome in his role as the Joker... i'm sad to hear the bad news....

I know exactly how you feel.... like i didn't even want Kakizaki because i'm kinda sick of the DYRL schemes... but i am so close to finishing... i just can't resist... sigh... and i remember a time where i was only going to get one 1/48 valk and be satisfied.... the old days...

i'm down to just getting 1 more 1/48 to complete the collection.... CF... here i come!! besides that... all i'm missing the LV2 Woodland GBP and to me... it doesn't really exist so i'm over it... haha...

Weathering on this thing is perfect... looks very realistic... great job!

that lego vf-21 is badass.... dayam i wish i had the lego pieces to do this...

my quest for completion is almost done.... never thought i'd shell out the dough for a Low Viz one or for a super M&M's.... but with those 3 purchases... it only makes me 3 away from the complete set.... and i just got a Hikaru 1S so now i just need 2... Kakizaki and CF here i come for 1/48 completeness!!!

after looking at the comparison pic of the heads... i don't like the new 1/60 1S head.... the head lasers are bigger and point more outward than the 1/48... That's kinda what bugged me about the original 1/60 1S head... The lasers were too big for the head... the 1/48 head looked perfect and proportionate... the new 1/60 head looks like it has Princess Leia Ear muffs attached to the side of its head... I'm still not sold on the new 1/60's yet..

I think the battroids for both legioss and tread look great in the 1st pic... the legios battroid/tread fighter link up looks decent but the by far the weakest point is that legioss/tread fighter link.... like JS said... that pic has a LOT of weird things to it... didn't even notice the tail fins sticking out and the legs spread open like that... that's my favorite mode of this combo fighter and if it looks that bad... there's a chance i won't bite on these... but dayam that Tread battroid looks good....

geez.... been seeing a couple of movies like this where the build up is great... and you think it's going somewhere... and bam.... some short stupid ending.... i felt really gipped that this movie could have been GREAT with a decent exit story.... Ocean's 13 did the same thing for me where i felt the ending was kinda meh while there was a good buildup up throughout the movie.... If only Neville had waited 1 more day instead of going apeshit on the mannequin and getting caught.... he would have met Anna and then seen the cure working and woulda been a happy ending... haha...

that fighter mode link up looks pretty bad... is the tread supposed to sit up that high???

just finished watching and i'm excited to see the rest of the series!!! Mechs look a LOT better in the anime than in the screenshots or in mags..... that Fastpack VF-25 rocks my socks.....

looks like a decent job casting for this.... The reason why Zhang Ziyi wouldn't have made it in this film is that she's not Americanized enough.... would'nt' have been right for the film i don't think... I hope they use the original chun-li outfit somewhere in the film....=]

dayam it... no more room in my display collection.... kinda excited.... but kinda really just feel the hurt in how much i'm going to spend collecting these.... it took me years to save up and buy an almost complete 1/48 collection.... now i'll probably end up getting all of these too... sigh.....

nice finish... can you list all the things you did to the valk??? besides the obvious weathering and decals and paneling.... is there anything else you did?

MWcon 2007 There's the link to the MWcon 2007 thread. Shows what happened during last year's con. Most everything should be back. I'm not sure about Mari yet, but she will be contacted to see if she is willing to come back and maybe do an autograph session at least. MWcon 07 pics and recap there's some pics from last year's con and stuff MWcon 07 event sign up thread This shows what events were at the con. Not everything happened, since not a lot of people signed up to do stuff, but i plan to be more organized this year and hopefully more people will attend and participate in the events. As far as SDCC... i can't even explain how massive Comic-Con is because it's HUGE... If anything, its definitely worth the trip to come out for Comic-Con to see the hundreds of aisles of toys and comic/anime stuff in exhibition hall.... MWcon 08 is something you sure don't want to miss as well if you're a Macross fan... we have some good surprises for everyone that comes!

I'm up for hosting the con whenever the most people can attend... and that's usually during Summer Con Season.... haha... sucks about the Disneyland visit but unless you can convince the rest of the out of staters to come in May or September... i'm thinking Summertime is still our best option.... =]

The con was held in Long Beach last year, about 30 miles south of LA. Home of Snoop Dogg and the Queen Mary... haha... Most likely, the con will be at the same location as last year. As for dates, we haven't got a lot of votes but it's leaning towards the Sunday before SDCC.... I'll leave the poll open through early January and then set a final date so we can start making plans and booking people to come out. We'll have a LOT of cool stuff at this year's con so i hope everyone comes out!

i dunno if this has been answered... but i saw pics of this for pre sale on BBTS and it was pics with the FPs.... at that pricepoint... i should come with the FP's.. rite?? like like the SV-51 came packaged with everything.... that's how i want this 21 to be...

Hi Everyone, 2007 is almost over and in preparation for 2008, I'd like to start planning MacrossWorld Con early and get a date set so i can book the venue. As always, we like to book MWCon close to Anime Expo or San Diego Comic Con so that members from across the country can plan a trip to Southern California and make the most of their time here. AX is on July 3-6 and SDCC is from July 24-27 so those weekends are out. Of the 3 choices I posted, June 29th is the Sunday before AX, July 13th is right in between both cons, and July 20th is the Sunday before SDCC. Sundays work out best for the con because the location of the con is usually booked on Saturdays. This past year, the con was held the Sunday before SDCC and we had a great turn out. I'm hoping to make the con bigger and better this coming year so let me know which date you guys would most likely attend. Thanks! Bee
