the 1st con was held in 2000?? i thought it was in 2001... haha.. i don't know the history... whoops

Since other people were posting there customs, i don't even know if this counts as a toy but i wanted to show off my handmade plush figure that i made... I've seen the VF-1S plush doll that Egan and xstoys have and always thought i could make a better one... I had no idea how to do it or where to start so i just bought a bunch of material and started from the top down from scratch... 15 hours of work later, 2 broken sewing needles, a couple of burnt fingers from a hot glue gun, and not sleeping the at ALL the night before the con... VIOLA!!! It has moveable arms, i used a wooden dowel to hold the arms up and make then swing The gun is removed from the valk.... it actually sticks the side of the arm by itself too in the picture I was sad i didn't have time to finish the back side... no backpack.... yet..haha... (good thing no one saw the back at the con!! haha... might not have gotten 2nd in the customs contest) So i entered it into this year's MacrossWorld Con Customs Contest and for the 1st time, we had enough attendees to have fan favorite voting for best custom instead of judging. I got all the kids votes.... haha... yay 2nd place!!!

Very nice pics of the minmei Guard custom!!!! I was very honored to place 2nd behind this in the customs contest with my funky plush valk...haha... maybe i shall dedicate a thread to it later... anyways... i think all the prizes for the customs contest were great and even for the rest of the contests.... what prizes did you have in the past for customs contests??? has there ever been anything as good as this year??

The day has finally come!!! i hope everything goes as planned... for those attending Frank and Sons... we'll be meeting at the main entrance near the food vendors... See you at 12pm at frank and sons and at 6pm at the Long Beach Arc!!!!

Solscud is working on getting the shirts printed in time for the con... hopefully he'll pull through... as far as prices go for the vendors... Treasure Island usually has fair market prices for their macross merchandise when its not a low stock item... however their prices have been known to go up with inflation prices for rarer items... I've gotten quite a number of good deals from them... i'm not sure about Toyhell's prices but they are based in LA...

Another MacrossWorld Con Update!!! This year we have 2 confirmed vendors attending this year's con selling LOTS of Macross and other Anime/TF goodies! ToyHell and TSINC (Treasure Island) will be setting up their shops at the con on Sunday during our exhibition hall. Remember to bring cash to buy some of the Macross goodies you've been wanting!!
