City Details are amazing dude! And thanks for sharing the background images of the city for us other non-talented folk to steal and make our SDF-1's nicer! We'd love to have you come out to MW Con if we do one this year. (not sure about me hosting it again) BUT... If we do have another convention this year and you submit this into our Annual Customs contest and you would be the favorite to win 1st prize hands down... We've gotten some great sponsors these past few years with some fantastic prizes that you could win for free just by sharing your awesome work Think about it.

Hey, quick question. Did anyone get one missing their instruction manual? I can't find it, and i don't remember if i dropped it somewhere. Where is located in the box? is it taped to the styrofoam? i think i might have gotten jipped.

FINALLY OWN ONE!!!! just got it today and can't wait to put it in my display shelf! I think i could be done collecting Macross toys after this and i'd be happy never getting another one

just saw this on Yamato USA's website too: Way back when i bought a 1/60 Ostrich and it had an incorrect booster, i contacted Yamato USA and they were able to send me a corrected piece. However, it was hush hush and not something they advertised doing. good luck

Just saw this thread and i'm catching up reading all your updates. Dude, great mods and detailing! Keep up the great work! I have 'zero' modeling skills at all so i could never attempt something like this, but i am enjoying your work. Can't wait to see the finished product! haha... and also eagerly waiting to get my SDF-1 too

Hey MW!!! Thanks to Liz at LA Weekly, MW Con 2010 made it on the list of "Best of the Cons 2010"!! We were awarded "Most Fan-Friendly Convention" which is pretty awesome since i hear a lot of people on other forums think MW members can be A-holes sometimes...hahaha check it out! Thanks for the review, pics, and video Graham. FYI, there's a typo with the text you just added: "They have also added knee joint articulation, which the larger 1:3000 version lacks." should be 1:2000 version, rite? cant' wait to get one! already have a space reserved in my cabinet

Yea, this is a problem i've encountered as well. Just bought a Max and Milia VF-22 set from the HLJ sale and have them displayed in fighter mode, but my max cockpit stays up, while the milia cockpit is a floppy mess and doesn't stay up at all. i wondered what the problem was.

be sure to post pics when you do! I'm curious to see how you'd display your valks after reviewing them individually. haha... thanks, i'll see if i can change it since the Stencil font is all caps. I'll see if i can insert a gamma symbol instead. I'm not even sure if i got most of the names right on all my labels since i had to look them up at various places on Macross Mecha Manual, or the Toy Release Thread or somewhere else.

Here's a more detailed shelf pic Things you are probably looking at are the 1/6 Sheryl Resin kit in the back which is on HobbyFan and the unfinished 1/6 Nude Minmay and Spacesuit Misa resin kits made by an old member on the boards named Chimera i think. Then there's Ryuji's MoonGuard Minmay which i think most people have seen.

here's the top of my detolfs that i organized for smaller Macross toys and that's it!! my entire Macross collection. Then there's also my TF detolfs and wall shelves too, you can see those in the big room pics. Keep posting up your collections!

so i finished making signs for all my toys and used the idea to label the toys by which series they are from plus showing which faction they belong too like MacrossJunkie. Here's the label templates i made: and here's each display completed display case

yep! i also got a case of their economy acrylic risers which breaks down to $5 a set for a 5", 4", and 3" square stand risers. very handy when displaying different toys.

Jumbo Shogun SDF-1? is that something you're making? hehe.... i actually have a space holder already for the yammie 1/3000 SDF-1 =P.... I got the idea of the acrylic signs from you when you brought a bunch to the con this year. Daisuke, if you ever feel like sharing, you can always post your crazy collection of Macross and TF's!!

actually, do you have the logos you used for all of these? I think i want to use them as well for my labels. Can't find the anti UN Cross symbol and a good NUNS logo. i'm going to make the rest of my display stands also match the series they come from. I have all the series logos for all of them, but would like to get the faction logos as well. thanks!

I couldn't find it searching back to 2008.... if anyone finds the thread, we can merge them, but for now we can continue to show off our updated collections. =]. nice pics everyone! looking at other people's displays always gives me ideas about how to make mine better.
