  1. Wow I thought that was going to be a Spy vs Spy movie at first. Lol Chris
  2. Wow Danth, you have really, REALLY drank the Kool-aid and keep beating that party line and completely miss the point to what everyone is saying. At this point I think you are just trolling. Insert .gif showing any criticism toward a anything that has a female in it.....MISOGYNY!! Chris
  3. The video that A7 posted on the previous page "Scientist Man analyzes" really lays it all out. Sony and the filmmakers conduct after the fact was even worse. Completely put me off of the movie. I'd recommend watching the video if anyone hasn't yet. Chris
  4. Almost missed the AMRAAMs on the doors in the second photo. Chris
  5. Looking forward to getting my book too. Love the images but how would most of them transform with the weapons hung from the belly? The thighs come out from there. Chris
  6. Yeah, I don't see how you are interpreting that scene the way you are? It was pretty clear to me. You seem to be really trying to find a reason to hate this movie...but mysogony...really? Dear lord. God save us from that buzz word now. Chris
  7. Cool site! Thanks for sharing. The P-51D they have is really cool, for a couple reasons. 1) that is from my favorite unit, I love the Yellow and black checkerboard of the 353rd. 2) It is a REAL RESTORED Warbird, not a surplus plane painted up like a famous combat vet. This plane is restored to its former glory and looks how it did when it flew combat missions in WWII. Awesome! Chris
  8. Just got back from seeing it. My wife and I both liked it. Solid B...B+ for me. My wife really liked it. Not the greatest movie ever or anything but really enjoyable. The theatre was packed and the audience seemed to like it a lot too. Chris
  9. Jeremy Jahns loved it. Man do you guys make up your minds so quickly. If you weren't interested in the first place, that would be one thing, but to just assume it's bad without seeing it seems a bit unfair. Chris
  10. She really does seem like such a lovely woman all around. Chris
  11. Cool info though. Those drawn on lines really created a crap storm in the Trek modeling community too. Since they were on the filming model some people, myself included, take that as the Original E had the shield grid on the model and have no problems with models that either through engraving or decals, show the shield grid ala the refit and every other Fed. starship seen. While others state that it can't be seen on screen so the "smoothie" is the only way to go. It's pointless but fun at the same time, both look cool to me as I'm not a purist and like how it looks all paneled up as was shown above. Chris
  12. I believe you are thinking of the Deflector grid which was penciled on. As far as I know, there wasn't any paneling on it though. Chris
  13. Those bastards!! I only want the fighter mode...they know it.....so now I'm really tempted to get the stupid gerwalk kit just for those decals. The look awesome! I don't *think* those markings are preprinted, I think the squadron stuff are decals. Some of there other kits come with some decals to customize the plane....like the Yellow 13 kit. Chris
  14. Yeah the hinged nacelles was gimmicky. My least favorite Enterprise is probably the NX followed by TOS. I respect and appreciate the original E for what it did and represents, but, that design aesthetic hasn't aged well IMO and definitely looks like a product of its time. Before the pitchforks come out, just because it is one of my least favorite of the E's doesn't mean I don't like it. It just doesn't give me the warm fuzzies that other designs do. Chris
  15. I get what you are saying but those examples Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu ect. don't already have a network channel that produces it's own content that people already pay for either through Cable, Satellite, ect. That's what pisses me off. Chris
  16. I can't remember, but she does play Chrisjen Avasarala in The Expanse. Excellent show and book series, btw, if you haven't watched or read it. Chris
  17. Not sure about my overall rating for the film series but Beyond is now definitely in my top 3. I'm glad that, for the most part, the film seems to be doing well with fans and critics. Hope it did well this weekend. Chris
