Lol! I agree not going to be a big seller Chris -
Looks great! I am surprised that they are starting with the Gerwalk mode and not offering a fighter mode. Chris

STAR WARS Merchandise Episode - 2

Excited too, but unfortunately nothing official about a release. Hopefully this will not be another Star Destroyer, motorized AT-AT, large R2, and 1/12 Vader TIE situation. Chris -

There was a book that came out just before the Disney purge of the EU titled “Kenobi” that takes place shortly after Obi-wan arrived on Tatooine. It is one of my favorite books. It described how Obi-wan, now calling himself Ben, struggled with anonymity while still wanting to be a Jedi and helping help the Galaxy and it’s people but getting caught up in a conflict between a settlement and corrupt landowners and also Tuskin Raiders. It was a great story and made me really feel for Obi-wan. His pain in failing and loosing Anakin and the loss of the Jedi as a whole, while still having his cause in protecting Luke and the hope that he(Luke) will right the failures of himself and the Jedi. This was all when Luke was still a baby. Lots more could happen over the next 17-18 years too that could include Luke and the Lars’ in someway. They just need to get a competent writer, which has not been Disney’s strong suit with these movies thus far. Chris -
Got my scheme selected! Chris

Nice!!! I’ve been wanting to get a Grievous and this makes me want one even more. Chris

Hmm, cool, thanks for the info. Reminds me of the YF-21 they showed years ago as well. I wonder why they invest the time and money into these things and then never release. Maybe too complicated or not good enough? Chris

Looks real nice! One of the coments mention a prototype High-Metal R VF-4!?? Chris

Yes, the lead engineer/designer of the Death Star Super Laser was being forced to work on the project against his will. He made the seemingly insignificant design flaw hidden in one of numerous small exhaust ports so that it could be destroyed if someone knew where to look for it. He risked a message to his estranged daughter to tell her where to look if they could get the plans. It makes a lot of sense to me rather than the accidental/overlooked flaw we had to believe for 40 years. Chris

I agree about the Tantive IV being At the battle. I think the scene would’ve worked better with 1 minor change. The scene could still play out the same but instead of the Rebel troopers desperately try to get the plans onto the Tantive IV before Vader kills them. Make it the Rebels are buying time to transmit the plans to the Tantive IV before Vader kills them. You would still have the same Vader scene and it would make a bit more sense in not having the Princess of Alderaan at a major Rebel military action AND jive with dialog from ANH: Vader: ”Several transmission were beemed aboard this ship. I want to know what you did the plans you intercepted.”

Ares update: all paneling done. Just need to do final detail painting and the it’ll be ready for decals. I dry fit the Nacelles on to see how it looks all together, I couldn’t help myself.

Been working on this, 1/1000 U.S.S Ares from the defunct Axanar project. The paneling was done by hand with artist pencils as seen in the first picture. No decals. Chris

Well said. I tire of the supporters lumping everyone that had issues with the movie into 1 camp. Misogynistic, racist, fanboys who didn’t get what we wanted from our fan fiction theories. Granted there have been a few who seemed like that in this very thread, but that is not the case at all for the vast majority of us. Like you pointed out. TFA specifically set up those questions which led to 2 years of waiting and speculating, and then they were just thrown away. If they were unimportant details then why set it up in the first place? I like your Rick-Rolled analogy. I didn’t HATE the movie either time I saw it, but what I liked is easily eclipsed by what I didn’t like. Basically, the lows are far more extreme than the highs so any pleasure from the movie quickly disapates after me viewing it. As for Poe, yeah gotta agree with you but like I said a few pages ago Holdo gets a strong assist with for a majority of those deaths; ”Holdo was still a contributing factor in that. Think about in ESB. Leia is briefing the Troops about the how the Hoth Evacuation will proceed. A grunt actually speaks out by incredulously asking “2 fighters against a Star Destroyer!?” Does Leia just keep her mouth shut and smile, give some cryptic message of faith, or just tell the grunt he’s too low ranking to be in the know..(all things that Holdo did in the course of the “Chase”) No, she answered the Troopers concern by explaining that the Ion Cannon will provide covering fire. That’s why I can’t stand the lack of Logic in what Holdo did. If she would’ve just told Poe, regardless of his recent demotion he still destroyed Starkiller base and was, according to TFA one of Leia’s most trusted people. Not to mention she obviously talked to Holdo about him being the a future Leader of the Resistance, according to dialog between them in TLJ. “ Chris

I’ll have to give it a try again. I only got to episode 4 a few years ago but lost interest. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special to me, but if it starts really picking up in a few episodes maybe I should go back a give it a try again. It worked with Parks and Rec for me and that is now one of my all time favorite shows. Chris

Remember some smaller vessels, like Runabouts, still received NCC numbers. So there could be a Large number of small scout like or large shuttle/runabout type vessels that could fill in the registry gaps. So i binge watched the series up to the latest episode with a 3 day free trial and I quite liked it....BUT....it is not worth $9.99 a month. There is nothing else on that stupid All Access that I want. Hopefully, the show will be able to purchase after the full season is complete. So that way I can watch it whenever I want instead of paying $9.99 indefinitely just to be able to watch it whenever. If not then I’ll just pay 1 month every year and watch a whole season. Stupid CBS. Chris
