Fantasy Flight Games is making a 24 inch Super Star Destroyer for their Star Wars Armada game. That will put it close to the right size with the Bandai Mecha Star Destroyer.

I’m tempted to try and get a 31 but they are so hard to get at a reasonable price or it is the garish colored ones. Chris

Loosened the hip joints and it is so much better now. Main problem is the horrible fit of the left V. Stab. I have no idea how to fix that. Biggest problem for me is getting the legs back into place for fighter mode. It is a super bitch for me. I tried putting the fast packs on but I can’t get the little inserts on the legs to stay on when trying to get the legs back into place. The grey arm pieces are in the way. Chris

I’m with you David. I prefer Alt mode accuracy. They are supposed to be in disguise after all. I don’t begrudge anyone who has a problem with the Trucks accuracy, even though I can’t really see it as I don’t have an eye for trucks, but it would drive me nuts with an aircraft. I do appreciate the incredible engineering in this toy, though. I may have to get one. Chris -
My 19 arrived yesterday too. No broken head laser but Very gappy out of the box....especially the upper torso area and the top intake LERX on the left side. The left vertical stab has a horrible fit and barely holds on in fighter mode...sounds like the left one is the problem most people have. Has anyone figured out a fix for it? Maybe slightly sanding it? It appears the be the front edge of the connection point is the what doesn’t want to stay. Also, is the gappiness just due to improper factory transformation and it just needs a good transformation done by hand? Chris

Oh man, I’m so sorry. I’d feel sick to my stomach. I remember when my old 1/72 Yamato VF-11 leg broke off when I just took it out of the box. And that was just an $80 item. Man, I’m so sorry.

Lol, yeah probably....though that would be REALLY bad. At least Top Gun used easily noticeably different aircraft for the MiG’s in that movie. Chris edit: How many victories did Maverick have in the first movie? I can’t remember. Was it 3? If so the the silhouette’s are wrong.
