  1. I read that and I immediately thought of....
  2. Just got back from seeing it. I gotta say, even though I knew everything that was going to happen, I was quite surprised by how much I liked it. Yes it has it’s issues...some its own and some inherited from TLJ. Some concepts are....well.... just silly (Death Star wreckage) but I understand the need for some interesting settings and imagery, so over all still very fun. In fact that whole sequence and it’s resolution was my favorite part of the movie, even got choked up a few times. The main cast is great and it’s a real shame the middle chapter in this trilogy completely wasted them. Chris
  3. I was wondering about that too. Probably so....but definitely left open to be made into another. Possibly Fett?? Since Gideon is an unknown character, to make him the mysterious spurred feet makes little sense since if he was fully shown the audience wouldn’t care. Chris
  4. You ‘bout to die... Chris
  5. Whoops, you are of course correct. I misremembered and confused some of Legends history as well. My bad. Chris
  6. Wholeheartedly agree. There is so much more going on in that fight. Love the trap that Obi-Wan set for Maul, and he fell right in it. Playing around with the amazing Maul figure again The last thing you’ll see.... Chris
  7. Just finished season 2. Liked it a lot. Solid season, lots of mysteries. Hoping for a third season. Chris
  8. Speaking of Maul, I’ve recently opened Pandora’s Box by starting to collect 1/6 scale figures from Sideshow/Hot Toys. Just got Darth Maul,Anakin/Darth Vader, Ep 3 Obi Wan and a few others. They are all incredible figures with so many pose options and accessories...heck even Mauls eyes can be moved! Here is Maul holding this stance without a stand! Chris
  9. Finished Ep.1 of season 2 good start. Looking forward to more. Chris
  10. Well that is disappointing. Talking with the pilot he didn’t indicate that it was a replica. We’ve had a few Mustangs and a Corsair come through as well. I do remember that one of the Mustangs did have a marking on the rear indicating it was an authentic P-51. I’ll have to check my pictures to see if I have an image of it. Chris
  11. These came through my airport a few years ago. Both authentic I believe. Never thought I’d see either of them here in the States. I took lots of pictures. Plenty more. Chris
  12. Yeah, was thinking it was you. I actually forgot about it and I JUST happened to notice /here someone mention how The Lioness Queen Calanthia just one her first battle to Geralt. I thought, didn’t here Grandaughter JUST mention in the previous scene how she herd the songs of her Grandmothers victory. Then my memory keyed in. It also helped to have IMDB open so I could look at who the characters where. It’s always difficult to follow along in a story with odd/uncommon names at first. Chris
  13. Just finished the season. I liked it a lot! Looking forward to season 2. It was a little hard to remember who was who with the name drops and such but got use to it after a few episodes. Also, thank you whoever it was that pointed out we are watching 2 sometimes 3 time lines. That’s not a spoiler as the first episode let’s you know if you are paying attention and remember the Queens name. That did help me quite a bit. The show started a little slow but definitely picks up. Chris
  14. Looks like a nice blend of the 22 and 23 Chris
  15. Yup, The Big Bang Theory did it right when Howard became an Astronaut. He was trying to influence the other Astrnaughts to get a cool Nickname while on a video call. They overheard his mother yelling out about his Fruit-Loops getting soggy. He became Fruit-Loops Lol. Later shortened to Loops. Very accurate. Something MAY sound cool but it almost always has something completely embarrassing in it’s origin that those in the know understand. Chris
  16. Yeah it is pretty cool, here is their canonical history if your interested. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mandalorian Chris
  17. Yup, I agree. The show takes place 31 years after Ep II which was the start of the Clone Wars. This would easily fit into an early to mid 40’s man. As for the Jedi, I’d imagine even people closer to the core still had a hard time completely believing that Jedi REALLY could do all the things they could do. That their history was more apocryphal. They didn’t seem like the types to actually flaunt their powers. One of those seeing is believing type things. Probably thought most of it was an exaggeration and that they were warrior monks of some sort that were very skilled in diplomacy and such. Mandalorians, though, were an ancient foe of the Jedi. That’s why they have so many weird gizmo’s and such. They were made to counter some of the Jedi’s magical abilities. Chris
  18. Reviews are good from what I’ve seen. One reviewer said Episodes 1 and 5 are the odd balls and not that great but the rest are fantastic. Can’t wait to watch it when the kids are asleep as I also heard it is NOT safe for kids. Lots of nudity ect. Chris
  19. I actually agree with all this. One thing I wish the SE’s would’ve done would be to digitally replace most Stormtroopers with regular Imperial Troops and only use Stormies sparingly and effectively, so they actually seem competent and threatening. Really, only the Snowtroopers and Deathtroopers seem somewhat effective and threatening. IF they ever do what you suggest, I’d hope they would make Stormtroopers better. Chris
