  1. Tiny little Yamato is so much more powerful too. Even the Macross Cannon is no match to the Wave Motion Gun. Damn is Yamato overpowered. What little Yamato is that? It does look like it would display nicely. I’d like to put it with my Macross too. Chris
  2. Thanks William, yup I have the light kit for it too. I started working with it this eve, but needed to fix something so I have to wait till tomorrow to let everything dry. I posted a quick video showing how the paneling looks from different angles. It’s at the bottom of page 242...hence my comment about being the last post on a page. Chris
  3. I’m curious how long it will really be for BBTS with the shipping situation in Japan. I can’t imagine they will pay for UPS shipping unless there is some sort shipping agreement that makes it more affordable for retailers. If not then their stock is likely being sent the slow ferry way and that could take months for them to receive their stock before they can even ship them out to their customers. Chris
  4. LEGO has the Osprey on their site, set for release in Sept. I didn’t know it had motorized gimmicks like retractable landing gear and cargo ramp! It looks AWESOME! Chris
  5. The older “new” kit is the 2199 Yamato ship design but not in the 2199 line as it came out just before the series IIRC. It uses the original series support craft and the old ships dimension/size as Bandai wasn’t aware of the new size of the ship. The newest 1/500 is also the 2199 Yamato ship design but officially part of the 2199 line and uses the correct upsized ship dimensions. Hope that makes sense. Chris
  6. And an awesome collection it is too. If you can bend the stand posts to a right angle you could put the base aha instead the wall to represent an ARMD hull. Just an idea. I keep building these things but have no where to put them! Chris
  7. I’d like to, but honestly, I’d have nowhere to put it at the moment. I have been looking into purchasing those Bandai Death Star tile sets , though...just in case Chris
  8. Enterprise update: Saucer is finished. I’m going to decal it prior to assembly since the decals a minimal and don’t interfere with seems. This way I can seal them and not worry about the clear parts getting messed up. Chris
  9. Group pics “Lock S-foils in attack position” “Gonna cut across the Axis and try and draw their fire!” Chris
  10. Lol, looks like your post rolled it over so mine would’ve been the bottom again LOL! great builds there Peter! For me I built 4 Bandai 1/72 X-wings (Reds 2/3/5/6. Reds 2 and 3
  11. Yay! I am able to order the Shin with the discount too! Chris
  12. I want to post an update but I hate when it is the bottom of the page and then promptly gets lost or overlooked when the new page forms. Come on page...roll over! Lol
  13. Fantastic Work! Those Valk’s look awesome! Chris
  14. While I don’t hate Discovery but do really dislike Picard, both the show and now the character (thank you so much CBS and Patrick Stewart for ruining a great character) I do objectively wonder if low numbers are more due to people not wanting to pay for a CBS streaming service. It wasn’t free on Amazon Prime here in the U.S. it was still a pay for add on even with prime. I certainly don’t want to pay for ANOTHER streaming service, particularly a CBS one. Chris
  15. Crap I forgot about this and just sent an email too. Chris
  16. Looks GREAT Derex! Chris
  17. I was able to get on right away. Chris
  18. Almost done with the upper saucer surface. Here’s a video showing how it catches and reacts to light at different angles. IMG_1922.MOV
  19. What’s FJ? Chris
  20. Gah! Double negative! Bad Dobber BAD! Lol! Chris
  21. Bottom Primary hull paneling done. Moving on to the upper surface. Chris
  22. One of the guys that does the videos for HLJ says it like that. First time I ever heard decals pronounced like that...drove me nuts I got worried I was mispronouncing it wrong my whole life. I looked it up on the internet and apparently it’s a Canadian thing and a few regional spots in the US. Chris
