  1. I was literally watching this episode as I was typing. The overly dramatic Cerritos flyby sequence had me rolling and the overdone Warp effects and explosion effects Chris
  2. I kind of felt the same way after watching the first episode....but I agree with what others said that the characters do seem to grow and get better. I do agree with the misconceptions the show did make, particularly in the first episode, when they played it like the senior officers were entitiled up class types and the lower deckers are the poor and down trodden instead of just junior officers having to learn and earn their way up the ranks. Rank and chain of command is not the same as society classes. That being said, the show really did get a lot better and very quickly, IMO. Mainer is a bit confusing though. She did get more likable but her motivation and reasoning is really odd and a bit confusing/off putting. Chris edit: was watching episode 9 “Crisis Point” and it really kind of calls her out for her crazy BS.
  3. Yeah it did, and was a novelty...IMO. At least MP-11’s were far smaller and less intrusive. Of all the things to carry over and all the things sacrificed from the earlier designs...as have been been pointed out already....why the are the armatures the thing people want to have and “upgrade” for. I say “Upgrade” sarcastically as this new design is hideous and super bulky. Chris
  4. Why is the armature thing...well... a thing now? Every other figure accepts that the weapons detach and reattach. Seems like as long as there is some place to store them people were happy. Yet the seekers now need to keep them attached during transformation? Chris
  5. Crap, that stinks. I wonder if the problem is the actual hinge plate itself and It’s not closing all the way? Chris
  6. Agree, I always hated the Fox body mustangs....especially the 79-early/mid 80’s bodies. Chris
  7. The first one looks basically what I did. Sorry it didn’t help. Maybe try to lower the canopy a little, with the stirrer in like the first picture and then try pushing the canopy on more, just in case the fuselage was blocking the canopy. If you can get some tweezers or something to grab the hinge plate to hold it steady and then gently wiggle and apply force up to remove the canopy from the the plate you can check to see if there is any extra material on the peg. Then put it back on as described and see if it goes on anymore. Only thing I can think of. Totally stinks that it 8s happening, I can truly empathize. Chris
  8. It looks like the canopy may not be in all the way. Try this: 1) open the canopy 2) then place a long, slender, rigid tool under the rear plate/hinge...the part that covers the area behind the rear seat and press down on the back edge of the canopy. This prevents the hinge plate from moving and will help ensure the rear peg inserts all the way into the hinge. I had to do this on my VF-1 Wolfpack release. Just pressing hard on the canopy when it’s closed won’t do it as the frame will hit the fuselage and the hinge has a little “give” to it...hence using the rod to prevent it from moving. Hope that makes sense and helps. Chris
  9. Good work on the blaster Thom. Also, like the modified Shenzou. Chris
  10. Lol, simple explanation but true. Chris
  11. Tekering, that Y-Wing looks AWESOME! I’d totally want one! Chris
  12. I still don’t get the reasoning behind the splitting the main wings to hide the stabilizers. If the point is to make a toon accurate bot surely those pieces could’ve been hidden somewhere else. The seekers didn’t have split wings in the cartoon so why is this ok? All it does is put ugly hinges on the wings and makes them less accurate in both modes. Chris
  13. Well so much for buying several of the stands. The new armature stands are $50 a pop! The v2 flight pose style are more reasonable at $20 Chris
  14. Someone over at Starshipmodeler said the dimensions Hasbro stated for the Razorcrest toy would make it around 1/33. Practically the standard large aircraft scale of 1/32. Lots of parts would be available for anyone who would want to scratch build an in scale crew and stuff. Chris
  15. IIRC, 3.75 figures are like 1/18 scale and the Falcon worked out to be about 1/48 scale. Chris
  16. I believe this is incorrect. It will fit the 3.75 figures but like their Falcon, it is not accurately scaled to them.
  17. Definitely going to get several of each new stand. Chris
  18. I agree with this. Also “love” how it adds huge blocky hinges to the horizontal stabilizers. Man the Alt mode is atrocious. Chris
  19. It’s not in the effects, it’s behind RMB when he’s talking. Looks like the Yamato/Arcadia 1/3000. Chris
  20. Holy Crap! I watched that video and still don’t know how he did that! That was amazing, thanks for sharing. Chris
  21. She looks great peter, it came out great! Chris
  22. Nice! Looks great peter! Chris
