Hey guys, I've got a few questions for you. The only thing I remember about transformers is from what I remember from the original series from the 80's when I was a kid. 1) Can someone suggest a good site that would explain/describe all the different series that are now out there, like the way Lebheads site describes Macross and Robotech. All these different series are starting to confuse me. Also which one is the best? 2) The picture posted a few pages back with the MP Starscream diagram, and also had a few pictures of starscream toys on it, what toys are shown, I recognize the original toy but there was a medium size toy and a really small toy. What are they? The medium one isn't the MP is it? I'm alittle disappointed if it is. Sorry for such Noob questions, that's why I asked if someone could recommend a good site if it's too hard to explain. I know Macross, but am interested in learning about an old friend named The Transformers Chris

Ugh! last nights episode stunk out loud! What does 24 stand for any way....24 moles....24 traitors (per season!LOL) What Miles did I knew was going to happen as soon as Jack told Chloe "Don't let anyone else near it!". Just a little too predictable an episode for me or at least what was supposed to be a suprise really wasn't, maybe because they've done it a little too much already. Looking forward to next week, hopefully it'll wash the bad taste of last nights episode out of my mouth. Chris

Drew, I'm so glad someone else noticed and was put off by that! The very first time I saw that I thought what the hell? I understand it is an action flick, and as someone else said " turn off your brain" but come on. I guess it just put me off after that ridiculous fight scene in MI:2 when they slam into each other after jumping off of Motorcycles going...I can't recall how fast, but they did make a point of showing the speedometers. So that didn't kill them, and then they proceeded to beat the tar out of each other with hands and feet and even rocks but they just kept on going. You can only let sooo much go. All that being said, people seem to think that this is much better than MI:2 and I liked MI:1 so I might still check it out. Chris

Wow, it does look good panel lined! What is the best way to do this...since it is a toy? Would Tempera (Spelling) water based paints work well, since it just uses easy water clean up. I haven't customized or wheathered any of my Yamato valks....too scared.....and I wasn't sure how to "treat" them. Sorry if this is off topic, just those panel lined 0's look really good. Chris

Strider, Hasegawa models will definately be cheaper than a Yamato !/60 or 1/48. However, you would have to build the hasegawa and paint it, and if you don't really know what you are doing it probably won't look as good as the ready made toy. Plus you would have to factor in the cost of the supplies and time to build the Hasegawa kit....accurately anyway, and, the model won't be able to transform and will have very limited mobility if any. The model kit will probably be more accurate in it's looks than the yamato toy though. It really all depends on what you are looking to do and able to do. Also, like David said, "garage" kits can be almost as expensive if not more so than a Yamato toy. Chris

This is a LONG thread so forgive me if this has been covered, I've seen a Luke ROTJ FX at my local spencers and a Vader at my local Best Buy, both are the 3 AA battery types are these the "good" types? which one would you guys recommend. I figure the Vader is more accurate since the Luke has the Fat neck, any other input would be appreciated! Chris

Interesting article about the prospects of S3. I didn't expect the occupation story arc would end that quickly....I was figuring most of the season! That's cool though. The Battlestars comming back to get the rest of the colonials might be the way the Pegasus geyts offed....if it does. Moore said that it would be around into season 3, but not indefinately. He probably hasn't decided yet. Personally, I don't get what the hoopla is about. Just seems like another twist in the shows drama. I didn't think this was a radical idea....especially if this arc is resolved in around 4 episodes in season 3. But that's just me. Great Show though!! Chris
