Personally, I don't think the wings are too short, just not wide enough. Maybe just a little more from leading to trailing edges. There just dosn't seem to be that much "lifting" surface there, but we are talking about a fictional transforming jet here . But I really think just a slightly wider wing would make a big difference in balacing out the large rear-end! Just nitpicking I guess because so far I really do like it! Chris

Actually the feet color make alot of sense.....F-15 wise anyway. That area on the underside of an F-15 is actually that color and it looks like the feet just twist into position to become that section! Chris

Taka, with the VF-0A comming out, are you going to make a set for it.....maybe aVF-0S and A sheet, instead of the 1/48 and Vf-0 combo sheet? That would be perfect for me because I don't need anymore 1/48 stickers. Chris

You know maybe, just maybe, some people actually like how this toy is turning out, and they do because they personally think it looks fantastic and not because of some irrational devotion to some guy in Japan they've never even met. Woah, crazy concept, huh? You know, finally seeing the colour scheme myself, I actually like it quite a bit. If anything, I'm horribly dissapointed that MP Prime doesn't look nearly as good next to this Starscream. You know what else? I feel this way because I actually, honestly like the design. And the real kicker, I don't like every single design Kawamori kicks out. I dislike the mecha in Eureka 7, and absolutely despise his designs from Aquarion. Finally, and this might completely blow the minds of some people, but I sincerely doubt that Kawamori is forcing this revision of the character onto Takara. I imagine, in my crazy, messed up vision of reality, that Takara is quite possibly paying Kawamori money to make this toy, and maybe even preferes this version. I also imagine, in my mind, that if Takara did not like it, they would have said "no, thank you" and stuck to the first incarnation we'd all seen. I have a VF-0S by Yamato that I panel lined with a lead pencil and it is also lightly weathered. I was wondering what I should seal it in. I am an experienced modeler but wasn't sure what I should do with this toy because it transforms and is made of different materials. I was thinking of using what I normally use for my models..Testors MM clear Flat laqure. Also, do I need to disassemble the toy before I do this, to ensure the parts don't stick or is it fine to just spray down the toy...after masking the clear parts obviously? Thanks for any input. Awesome!!!!!!!! I really hope this won't be Skull Squadron and will be the Bunny one instead. I'm really burn't out on Skull Squad, something diff. would be nice for a change. As For shin's VF-0a, it is much more blue grey than the model image that some posted. I would say that the Yamato VF-0A is much more close to the actual cannon fodder than to shin's VF-0a. Also Yamato, VF-0a has different striping than what Shin's version had. Chris

SWEET!!! I Can't wait to get this!!!!! I noticed he seems to come with AIM-9 sidwinders too! Jet looks beautiful!!! As for Bot mode, I can see the changes in the red circles but didn't notice any difference in the Green. Chris

Yeah that definately looks photoshoped. That isn't even red, it's more like pink....like Nora'a SV-51. IF that is real, I hope they change THAT color. Overall, still like it. Chris

It's no big deal, you are entitled to your opinion You have every right to dislike it just as many other people do. I just didn't get the nothing like him comments that a bunch of people (not just you) have been saying. It's all good though. My opinion though, I love it!!!! . I'm with Shin, I love jet mode stuff to be as accurate as possible. Chris

Kyatsu, don't mind your opinion at all, like you said it's your preference and Money. What I don't get though is how you are saying it dosen't look "ANYTHING" like Starscream. Like I and you said, it's your opinion, but how does waist stuff suddenly make this look nothing like screamer? Like I said before I don't understand. Just asking. For ME, Jet/Skyfire G1 toy dosen't look ANYTHING like the cartoon Jet/skyfire. I just think people are being a little harsh over these changes. If people saw this toy with no info on it or Shoji tried to make this a new valk....people would say "Hey, that's starscream....he just moved the fins!!" or " He's ripping off Starscream!!!!!!" Chris

For those who care, I heard that Winnona Ryder is topless in this movie....of course it's "animated" though. Chris
