    I actually have a second kit minus the light kit and bought some after market parts for it including a refit-ish bridge module meant for the old TOS 1/650 kit that, size-wise, fits pretty well. Just need to get around to building it. Plan on painting it more like the Refit though. Chris

    Can’t tell yet. Still no pics of fighter. I does look like it uses some form of faux canopy or at least a portion of one as you can see some amber clear plastic under/behind the bot head. Chris

    Even at 1/350 it’s still going to be pretty small. R2 used the lower end of the size estimate. Like what was discussed over at SSM, I “PERSONALLY” won’t view this one as 1/350. Maybe more like 1/500-1/650. Chris

    Agree with you guys, but I have a sneaky suspicion that alt mode will not look too great. The legs look pretty thick from the side in bot mode which will totally screw up the lines of an F-15. Will likely still have the protruding “boobs” in fighter mode too like the Make Toys version. That was the one thing from the early MP versions that was ingenious IMO that 3P versions unfortunately disregarded. Chris

    Agreed, I too PO’d it a while back and am impressed with how it’s turning out. I’m also eagerly awaiting to see how the Flanker turns out! Chris

    The C’s mold is actually pretty good. I think it is slightly more accurate than the 1/1400 AMT kit for the E-C and not the later Yamaguchi style refit. It’s biggest problem is a pretty bad paint job....particularly the secondary hull. Chris

    Thanks lol, My a/c has been out for the past week so it got me to spend more time in my basement to escape the heat and finish it off. Chris edit: just saw a building error that I’m going to have to fix on the top of the hull.

    Yeah, there is something special about an aircraft kept how it was when it served. Like the P-51D “Upupa Epops” Not just a P-51 painted like a Warbird but the ACTUAL aircraft restored to its War time appearance. I just LOVE THE 353rd FG’s colors. Very cool. Chris

    In the movie when Eddie was expecting Venom to be all bad ass, didn’t Venom say compared to other symbiots he was the equivalent of Eddie to other humans...basically calling himself a loser? I remember laughing at that revelation. It was towards the end of the movie before the final confrontation. Chris

    Funny thing is, as big a fan of Star Wars I am, I somehow missed the whole KoTR train. With my “canon structure” theory, just to be clear, I wasn’t implying they can’t use what was established in other media. Just that they don’t HAVE to be beholden to it is all. Chris
