Damn it!!!!!!! I cancelled my preorder due to other finacial obligations that sapped my saved money that was going to pay for this!!! Meaning I felt guilty spending $200+ for this one thing when My wife and I are expecting our second child in Nov. I want this soooo badly!!!! Chris

He sort of mistransformed BB or at least left some details out. The chest area still needs to "split" so you get the "broken" car look that BB has. Also, during transformation, by rotating the shoulders you can auto morph the hood down instead of manually doing it. Chris P.S. I wrote my comment while it was still playing and I saw at the very end of the vid. he mentioned forgetting to split the chest/car front.

Thanks! They do have a dull coat on them, but I think the lighting may be giving them the illusion of a slight shine. Decaling took I think 2 days per ship with working being about a few hours per day!! As you can see the decaling is quite extensive!! I brought them to my local hobby club this past week and when people looked at them up close and saw all the detail...ie paneling and decals, they were shocked that there was sooo much for the size of these models!! I was able to get the New BB last night at Target I passed an Arcee though...she looked nice but it would have been an impulse buy to get her........I hope I don't regret not getting her. Anyway, the new BB is very nice. Looks pretty darn close to what he looked like in the movie and the automorph is pretty cool on this one too ie the chast an legs. Really glad I was able to get this one. BTW, is Barricade a good deluxe? I'd like to get someone to go with BB. Chris

When looking at the Voyager SS, I think it would be possible to make a good looking Larger toy. The proportions are just a little off in the Voyager one. With a Leader class toy, there would be more room to collapse and fold parts. I too hope they make a Leader SS that would look much better. Chris

I've been wondering about SS too, both design wise and Leader possibilities. I'd like to know what was up with Hasbro and Bay regarding SS. The toy does have those wonky gatling gun arms that we saw a LONG time ago but when the final CG render was released he had normal arms and hands. I wonder if that was the problem, like what Shin said. Chris

What I meant and what I think he meant was can these bot designs really transform into their corisponding alt modes. That would be the essence of what a Transformer really is. I have no problem with complex designs...though for me it would have been nice to see more recognizable parts of the vehicles while they are in bot mode(but what's done is done)............but I just don't think thes bots could actually transorm into there alt modes without either "Morphing", mass shifting, or anime magic. Take BB, where the hell is the hood of the car or the front and rear wind sheilds....cause they aren't on his back.....that would be what I'm talking about...they either disappear then reappear when needed or Morph/melt into the bots body. I thought we were going to get to see real transformations. They could have done the moph/melt thing years ago. Chris

I'm not sure where you guys get this idea that Cain lied, she always said that they fled. She says something to the effect that the Pegasus had docked at the Scorpion fleet yards and most of the crew was preparing for leave, and then the Cylons attacked destroying several ships, 2 of them Battlestars, right off the bat along with several hundred of her crew. Adama or Roslyn then ask her what she did next and she said she ordered a blind jump. Sounds, to me, like she had no problem admitting she ran . I guess I'm just misunderstanding what you and Duke are talking about, because she was really up front about it all along. Chris

Thanks T.V. Honestly, I could forgive "Alt style" cheats because it's not REALLY a camaro and so forth and wouldn't need a real engine...per say. I was think more along the lines of say bumble bee's thick legs and such.....were the hell do they go and still leave room for the cars occupants in alt mode. and where does his hood and wind screen go in bot mode. Again, I REALLY liked the movie and CAN get passed the whole magic transformation thing....it's just that I figured they could have made THAT type of transformer movie a long time ago if things where just going to just magically rearrange to transform instead of using the CG technology we do have today to digitally show a car REALLY transform into a robot and not alter certain mass aspects. If you follow what I'm saying . Anyways, looking forward to seeing it again, and the inevitable sequals!! Chris

Absolutely LOVED the movie!! Great Fun. Still don't like the bot designs though, they're too complex, not sure if it is even possible for those robots to actually transform into their alt-modes. Does anyone know if the cgi-team actually created the cg-models so the could really transform into their vehical modes without using "anime magic" so to speak? Chris

As much as I want an SV-51, I'm still contemplating canceling my order...and loosing my early bird price....because of Yamato's recent actions and the utter lack of any info comming to us for this release as opposed to the VF-0's, 1's, and YF-19. Graham has been very quiet here and in the shoulder replacement thread. Doesn't "SEEM" to bode well for this. Not sure what to do, but I am still keeping my order.....at the moment. Chris

Ya know, I was never sure what the automorph was on Blackout.....He's such a floppy mess during transformation that I probably broke it because I'm pretty sure I manually rotated the cockpit area. Chris
