LOL!! BSG virgin!! What a finish the trial has too plus everything else!! Mr. March, at least you won't have to wait a year like the rest of us had too to see Razor and S4. It's been soooooo long. The fact that they are taking so long to release S3 on DVD is really pissing me off too!!!!!! Chris -

Yeah, I really liked S3 too. some people are just very hard to please but like Eugi said most of what people complained about where things that were laid out...hell all the way back in the miniseries so I didn't get what all the hoopla was about. Great show, now you;ll have to wait like the rest of us to see how things are resolved. You got some BIG suprises comming by the end of S3. Chris -

Here is info on how to obtain Jesse's Raptor, taken from a Starshipmodeler thread: My 1/24th scale Raptor model will again be available! As a little update, a limited quantity of raptors were made available back about a year ago, but due to time constraints I was only able to make a small quantity available. The good news is that recently a good friend offered to help me make this kit available again. As a result he will be doing a limited run of kits. He is a very experienced kit maker and I am supremely confident that the kits will be expertly cast with high quality materials. Additionally the kit will be identical to my original in all other ways including clear parts for interior lighting, excellent figures (2), high quality decals, and reference instructions. If SSM still wants it we still plan on having them available through the SSM store. If you are still interested in receiving a kit please email salzo1@aol.com. Again, thank you for your patience, and time. Thanks! Jesse Chris -

No problem, I know what you mean too....last night I typed all that stuff in and then on the last line when I went to get the LAST, link I accidentally changed pages and lost everything that I typed!!!! I just didn't have the energy to do it all again last night. At least I could do it this morning though. Oh, and I"ll wait patiently for your Galactica. Don't care if it takes years, just keep doing what you are doing with it!!! She's a beaut! Chris -

Yeah I would love something like that too....but alas it does not exist yet. As for models here is a list of the models that are out there. I have many of them but not all of them: Frank Cerney made/makes 2 1/20 scale MK II Vipers. The 1st edition is the Starbuck edition ( I have this one) The second was the Apollo edition which is an improved version of the first kit with better detailing. He is also in the process of making a MK VII Viper that is in scale with these MK II's. Info and and a mailing list on these can be found here: http://snakeshipinc.blogspot.com/ Our own Cobywan made a BEAUTIFUL little Galactica model which is now available from Federation models through Alliance models. A baseship roughly in scale with it is also available through Federation models. Can't remember the maker but when looking at the Alliance Galactica it gives a link to the baseship too. Howling wolf models also makes a georgeous 1/24 Cylon Raider and a 1/2500 scale Baseship. He also made a 1/24 Blackbird but I don't think it's availabel anymore. Sci-Hi models makes a MK II Viper in 1/72 and the MK VII should also be available soon. The MK II is an outstanding little kit, I have 2 and highly recomend them. All of these can be found at http://www.federationmodels.com/ Starship modeler http://www.starshipmodeler.biz/index.cfm?f...;category_id=56 also has a variety of BSG models. There are 2 cylon raiders, 1/72 and 1/48. a 1/48 scale Raptor, and the will also be releasing a 1/48 viper MK II and a 1/48 Viper MK VII. There is also a 1/350 scale Colonial 1. Finally, they also have 1/72 scale MK II and MK VII vipers by Blacksun Models. The MK II is a little cheaper than the previously mentioned Sci-hi version, but I don't think it looks as good as the Sci-hi version..too fat IMO. Fantastic Plastic has 2 Battlestar Pegasus's. The First http://www.fantastic-plastic.com/BattlestarPegasusPage.htm is supposed to be in scale with the Alliance Galactica, I think it is a little too big to be in scale though, and is a desent kit, but, a little too stumpy for my taste. It can however be built into a pretty nice model with some modifications, here is a picture of mine which has been modified http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q222/cd...sus/TOYS430.jpg The second Pegasus is going to be 20 inches long and it looks much more accurate IMO!! This kit is due to arrive in Oct/Nov. there is a waiting list for this kit so if you are interested read this thread: http://www.starshipmodeler.net/talk/viewtopic.php?t=53227 Pictures of it can be found here. http://www.alfredsmind.ca/commissions/samples84.html along with pictures of the 2 1/48 scale Vipers from Starshipmodeler http://www.alfredsmind.ca/. Bambam productions is also making a Battlestar Valkyrie (which is seen briefly in S3) in scale with the small G and Peg. Info and waiting list are here: http://www.starshipmodeler.net/talk/viewtopic.php?t=55197. Jesse Myers (I think that's his last name?) also made a beautiful 1/24 scale Raptor but it has limited availability. Try PMing him here if interested. Lastly Cobywan is making a unbelievable 1/2600 scale Galactica. It's probably still a ways off but check it out here: http://nugalactica.blogspot.com/ and the discussion of it here: http://www.starshipmodeler.net/talk/viewto...&highlight= Hope I didn't forget any, I may have left out a few kits but they are from not so reputable dealers or just aren't that great. Hope this helps. Chris -

Mr. March, I have a Galactica, Raider, Viper MK II, and the hard to find Pegasus...all brand new I can sell you if you are interested. P.M me if you are. I also think I have a spare "Scar" raider and Original series Viper. The only wave I didn't buy extra's of was wave 2 that had the Viper MK VII, Raptor, and Colonial 1. But I'm pretty sure I have plenty of extra's of the others. At the very least the I know I have plenty of the first 4 I mentioned. Chris -

Plus the Pegasus set was the unused Lost in space set that never made it to production. MrMarch, Love the 3 episode arc of Pegasus and Resurection ship pt 1 & 2 also. My favorite FX shot was the Vipers "sliding" past the Resurection ship while straffing it and watching all the glass breack apart. That was impressive visuals for me. LOVE the Pegasus. Looking forward to seeing more of her in Razor. Chris -

No problem Vermillion01, I know you weren't indicating Adama, but just quoting the episode . As for favorite episode.....not sure.....lets see. 33 comes to mind...the very first episode (which is strange because "usually" first season episodes for a show aren't always that good because the show hasn't found it's legs yet) but 33 was just damn good. Kobols Last Gleaming part 1 I also really liked particularly the scene with Baltar basically talking Sharon into killing herself...wow. Loved Six's face when you here the gun shot, almost like she couldn't believe that Baltar could ACTUALY make a Cylon try to do it. I also liked Six degree's because it was so much diffent then the rest of the show, a little more light hearted then the rest of the series. REALLY like Flight of the Pheonix and Resurection ship pt's 1 and 2. I think the battle effects in Res pt 2 are some of the best in the series. Also gotta agree with you on Exodius parts 1 and 2 also some of the best effects seen in the show. Gotta love the bellyflop!!! And finally the S3 finale Lee's speach is really impressive and I think anyone would be hard pressed not to find him an Honorable character after that speach. So those would top my list many others are really really good with only a few that I felt were so so. And yes the Beast is the Nickname of said thing in said episode. Bucket is the other ones nickname. They were mentioned in Captains Hand...also an episode I really liked. Chris -

Oh Mr March, the things you are in for....I envy you. Just wait for the BEAST!!!!! I've been rewatching the series myself, almost done S1 again. It's sad looking at some of the old familiar faces that are now gone. Won't spoil anything for you, just it's interesting watching this show from the beginaing again and you go..."oh yeah, I forgot about so and so"...or " Oh yeah, I liked that person" kinda makes you realize how many have been lost. "Ok, you got us all there.. M3 updates is good. In a way you're lucky you're not completly up to date with Galcatica as you would have to endure the pain that is the wait between seasons.. not to mention the silly 10 week break they take (in the US) mid season... thats a killer! After the S4 finale, I nearly died.. could kinda see it coming, but it still hit me with a ten ton hammer!" Season 4 finale? Season 4 hasn't aired yet or do you know something we don't? As for Adama starting the war or even having a hand in it....HE may think he did because he had a guilty consious over Bulldog, but it would have been impossible for that instance to cause the Cylons to attack. Logistically, the time it took to get all of their "skin jobs" in place, like Six, Boomer, Doral ect., probably took years not to mention the planning and reconasance stages. I just found Adama's thinking that a bit weak. Just my opinion though. Chris -

LOL!! I'd really like to se a mini series or something about the Orginal Cylon War. Maybe start off "briefly" about how the cylons were made and slowly evolved and then ultimately the opening rebelion. Then it's all out war for the rest of the miniseries. The war is the one thig that niether series really ever explored. Chris -

LOL!! I forth and fifth that. Gimme one for free!!! That would be very VERY cool! (Graham?)......but, since we all know that Yamato won't do that . I'd love to have my name on it at least Christopher Dobinson call sign Dobber. Wicked Ace, I'd love to help you out man, but, the toy is just too comlex for ME to risk taking apart and repainting it...at least with someonelses bird anyone got one they want to donate? Chris
-
I also need a Gunpod Strap. Are they still available? Chris
-
Thanks !!! Me too. Chris

It sure is. showed pics of it back on page 68.....Oops....pictures didn't come with the quote. They are on page 68. Even better is what Graham had to say! Hope that actually happens!!! Chris

Couldn't help myself!! Here's my display, I plan on putting my VF-0S out when I get one more 1/60...either the YF-21 or another SV-51 Dobber scheme hopefully!! I jsut love the Launch configuration. Took a little while to do yesterday, but I made all the mods....ca glue in the wing joints, and flipping the hinge. Now everything is VERY solid!! I'm suprised at how well that CA glue trick really works! Sorry for the poor pic quality, I just took them real quick!
-
Yeah sure did. It's just me having difficulties with the transformation I guess not really and issue. It just seems like you have to spread the legs..so to speak... to get the gun pod in place and I'm affraid I'll over stress the legs in the process. Haven't noticed any stress marks yet, but, I only transformed it once. Personally, I found the whole shouder wing area a little confusing But again, I'm retarded Chris
-
Ok, got my 51. Love it!!! I do have all the same problems that everyone else is reporting though....2 of the same hinges, floppy wings..excetra. Still a nice toy though, I'll do the fixes in a few days when I have the time. Now, with that said here are MY gripes...wouldn't be MW without them . The leg swing panel(the part with the exaust ducts on it theat also has the peg that locks it in place in Battroid mode...well the locking pin is very loose and even poped out because the panel back separates too easily. I think that the gunpod magazines are really hard to get into place, I'm really afraid I'll over stress the legs while trying to get the gun pod in place, but addmitidly I don't know what else they could have done there. My MAIN design flaw/ gripe about the sculpt is the angle of the lower horizontal stabs. I don't think they lower enough. I pointed this out months ago when we first saw the prototype. I just think that how they don't have enough downweard angle on them, almost like they are permanantly set in the landing configuration. This is really noticable to me when the inboard missle/fuel pod is attached and the pod practically rests on the stab. Most are just the normal QC things and really on 1 design issue for me. Overall though a great toy. Chris

AARGG!!!! now that I know that mine is coming the wait is just killing me!!! Chris

So Far it seems like most have that problem, with just a few NOT having the problem. Chris

Man, ANOTHER long hiatus. it just keeps getting longer and longer. I've noticed more and more networks are doing this too. I can't keep track of shows that I like or liked because I can never tell when they are on. short of watching the channel guide every night every week to make sure a show wasn't moved. Bones is a good example. I liked that show, it went on a hiatus for I believe the World series or something to do with baseball.....I generally don't watch Fox much so I never saw it again. Low and behold it was moved to Friday nights so I have no idea when it came back on or how many episodes I missed. So I just gave up on it and stopped watching. Family Guy and American Dad too, every few months there is a new episode then nothing or just repeats the rest of the time. So we either get rediculously long waits or constantly changing schedules with hard to figure season breaks. Chris
