Looks Real good Ghostkiller!!! Also note that I used 3 different blues plus the overall grey. My colors where overall Light Ghost Grey, then a light blue....unfortunately I can't remember what type, then US navy blue grey, then the darkest was Intermediate blue. My colors where Testors though. Chris

Yeah, the Carbon "streaking" came off real easy with rubbing Alcohol, but the silver on the nose was harder to remove. I needed to use thinner...now it looks great! Chris

WOW, I canceled my order for the Yellow Sub a long time ago after what happened with the Sylphid....basically the same thing only I guess it was officially canceled. A shame too because the prototype I saw looked good. I wonder why they canceled it. Oh well as long as platz still releases their 1/72 Sylphid I'm a happy camper. Chris

Ghostkiller, that's what I thought so I painted my hasegawa that way. This is the one (Dobber) that everyone is refering to if you didn't know. I also have been thinking about painting my Yamoto like my Hasegawa but I only have 1 and really can't afford another one yet either. I really hope Yamato comes through and makes my SV-51 so I can just buy one instead of risking screwing up a very expensive toy!! Chris

Yeah, I really don't expect any royalties or anything, especially since it's just a variation of the Flanker splinter camo/ Tomcat NSWAC(not sure if I got that right) schemes. Now I would love to at least have my name on the sticker sheet as a pilots name though....if I couldn't have one for free that is............ya I know...keep dreaming. I would love to know if Graham had asked them about this possible release though and what they said. All this being said, I am very honored that they MAY at least make one...whether I get any credit or not. It'll be more Macross goodness for all to enjoy, and that's what is really important. Chris

Yeah, they calim it is to pump people up for the upcomming season, which again is just stupid! The show already has it's core audience,if they want to get new viewers they need to have the show out there on DVD so new viewers have time to catch up, while the old viewers can just enjoy the show that they already love. Not this wait over a year BS!!!!!! I know I'm just preaching to the chior here, but this is just getting really annoiying. Chris

As much as I love this show, I'm also starting to feel that way too. Just so I won't be getting jerked around like this anymore. If the show really is not comming back til April, it would make even MORE sense to at least release the DVD's now instead of later. They really are alienating their own fanbase by screwing us over....AGAIN!!!! I really don't by the " The DVD extra's are holding up the R1 release" bit either. It's been how long now since the end of S3 and yet DVD extra's still haven't been made...yeah right! Plus, as I said before, none of the other R1 DVD sets had anything NEW as an extra, just stuff that you could already see on sci-fi. Chris

Also, I found the terrified screems from the Columbia very chilling. This was a FRAKING awesome episode 2 minutes or not. Am I alone, in wanting to see more from this Era? I'd love to see another miniseries or even series that would take place during the Cylon War. Chris Also, anyone else notice the TOS music being used in TNS style during the begining? Very cool!!!

Most of the Uniforms did seem different, with alittle TOS flare to them. The main thing I didn't like though, was the Viper MKVII flight patch!!!! But flight suites really don't look all that different now than they did id Nam, and in the minisode they seemed to be different with the Vest thingy and what looks like an old school tunic underneath. Also, deckhands and such really haven't changed all that much since Vietnam....mainly they just use Camo now and that was a fairly rescent change. I agree about the Marines though, it would have been a nice touch. P.S. what is the photo from? Chris
