This is spectacular news!!!! I think the Fighter looks gorgeous...though I was hoping for a more slender canopy when viewed from above...that was one of the things I didn't like about the 1/48th, too wide. Still looks great though. Oh Happy day!!!

Anyone know if the platz models are still going to be released this month. HLJ says by Dec. 31 but I don't much faith in that. Just hoping someone has heard something more concrete.

Sorry to continue off topic but regarding mask....does anyone remember an episode that had the MASK team guarding some sort of new military jet that could fold up to be compact enough to be transported in a cargo plane...or something to that effect. I just remember loving that plane when I was a kid....thought it looked so cool. And yes, the MASK theme rules!!

ya know, I forgot about that scene. I thought the 11 was supposed to be barely larger than the VF-1, but IIRC in that shot the 11 look moresize comparable to the 21 and 19 which are much larger then the VF-1.

I'd prefer Yamato. Bandai really seemed to phone it in with their Macross items. Admitedly, though, they haven't made any in like 10 years. They do seem to give all of their good attention to Gundam, though, and half assing their other stuff.

That's an interesting idea. So there wouldn't always be a Tigh looking individual just a code. The cylons would detect the program, per say, not regonize the physical appearance of the being. Cool idea.

Plus isn't one of the significant 7's number like 8 or something....I can't remember What model is what number. If so then it really doesn't make sence because then the numbering of the 7 and the 5 are mixed.

Yes, David is correct, mine is mainly based off of the NSAWC Tomcat but I wanted to use more Flanker like colors..ie they are a little more light. I also "super-splintered" it to make it more of my own and to try and make it more complex. I should be starting on mine soon but my baby girl is going to be born tomorrow through C-section....soooo......I may have to put it off for a few days

People are calling it the Dobber Camo scheme because of my custom Hasegawa SV-51 I painted a while ago. Graham showed Yamato the pictures of my model and said that it may be a possible repaint in the future.
If you haven't seen it yet here are some pitures. I've been inspired by ghostkiller to pay tribute to myself and paint my Yamato like my Hasegawa, if that makes any sense!!

Yeah, or maybe after he watched the baseship fly away...say through voice over or subtitle, 4 months or 6, or whatever amount of time later the war was over. That way we could at least assume he flew more missions before being cashiered out of the service and going to the merchant fleet. REALLY sucked that the Columbia and her crew were lost just minutes before the end of the war. Loved 1 through 4 but 5 through 7 kind of sucked.
Chris
What I was alittle disappointed about, was that Adama only flew 1 combat mission in the war???? Just seemed a little odd considering how it was talked about over the series.
