I've always wanted to try Mr. Surfacer. What are the differences between 500 1000 ect. Also, is it mainly used sor seems, scratches and dents but not for larger gaps? thanks for any help. Chris

The more I look at Delux movie SS. The more I think a pretty damn accurate F/A-22 can be made with pretty much the same transformation process. I just needs a larger scale ( to accomadate some smaller/thinner parts) and the removal of those STUPID gatling gun arms. I'd love to see a leader class or a masterpeice of Movie screamer....he's one of the few designs I actually didn't hate. Chris

I agree with you guys and the article. PLUS, even if purists hate a specific adaptation...especially if said adaptation is successful, I still don't get what their problem is. It usually gets people interested in said original....look at Robotech and Macross for example. I only new of robotech from my childhood. Then I found out about the original and have never looked back!! Chris

Are Hobbysearch or Overdrive descent stores? I'm not familiar with them and would like to try a different store to HLJ. chris

Wow that does look fantastic!!! I too passed on the others, at one point I did have a preorder up for the MH one but all the parts removale just put me off. I know a PT RA is hard if not impossible to do but from what I saw CM was able to get pretty close to it. If CM's was just larger I would've gotten one of those. As is Beale is look GREAT!!! I'm going to get one of these even if it does the MH typ of disassemble reassemble transformation...The size and detail are just big plus's for me! Hopefully, the transformation will be closer to CM's though and give us as close as we can get PT. Chris

Do you mean the removal of the swing bar and using the retractable Leg extenders? That will be impresive if you can make it work! I remember someone made a hasegawa 1/72 VF-1 do that...it looked fantastic. Chris

I think the gloss finish is perfect. Remember that this is a prototype fighter. Actual prototypes are glossy plus the fighter in the anime is also glossy. Then again so was the YF-19 but the toy still came out dull. Personally I think the 21 looks perfect glossy. Only problem I can forsee is that with such a glossy finish, stickers will really stand out. I hope most of the markings...especially the large ones, will be tampo. Chris
