    While I do love the OVA opening battle...gotta love the VF-11. I have to admit I really like how the movie opens. The music and the whole feel is just dangerous. Myung and "Sharon" arriving and then the yf-21 powering up is just awesome. My vote goes to the Movie. The only thing I really liked more in the OVA was that 1 battle scene and it really wouldn't fit in the movie edition if you keep it's opening....which I like. Chris

    My CD is on the way but can someone tell me if the version of Ranka's song (sorry don't know the name of it, but she seems to keep singing it and the mystery guy also plays it on his harmonica) from the end of episode ten is on the OST. The version I was refering too was used for the ending of the Zero movie. I really liked it alot. I've been loving the melody of it all along, I find myself humming it all the time and then I heard the full orchastatal version at the end of the "movie" I just fell in love with it. Chris

I really liked the movie but I'm still not a huge fan of the bot designs and find it impossible for the bots to transform into their vehicle mode without alot of "MAGIC" Chris

    Yup, me too! That was bugging me for a while now how the 2 of them had the same memories. Also looks like Tori seperates herself from the others as well. That shot of her walking down the corridor with the Centurions. She's been sort of going nuts with her "revelation" If any of the 5 have to go she should be the one, you know after the murder and all. Chris

    Towards the end of the opening theme song, you see 2 silhoweted (sorry for my spelling) fighters fly past each other. 1 appears to be a VF-25 what is the other? Is it the VF-27? I've only seen up to ep. 6, still waiting for Shinsen Subs to sub the last 3 episodes they seem to be falling behind. Sorry if this has been discussed already but these threads are getting pretty massive and I may have missed it, so I thought I'd ask. Chris

    Me too, totally agree with you. I know many people here get upset about Battroid proportions on a lot of the releases but Macross has alwas been about Fighters that transform into robots, and a realistic looking fighter that can transform into a robot is whats important for me. Chris

    That DOES look pretty good. I was affraid the profile veiw of fighter mode would look too chunky but that shot made it look pretty darn good! Chris

    I'm pretty sure the scene where Hikaru is crashing the VF-1D through the buildings, in the series, shows the padel style too. I really don't mind the round ones, I just really like the slotted ones better and haven't seen it done yet...on a good toy or model that is Chris

    I'd love to have a VF-1 with accurate exhausts....ie the padles or bars instead of the standard circular exhaust. So far I don't think anyone has gotten that correct Yamato, Bandia, hasegawa ect... although the super possibles may have had them not sure though. Chris

    Indeed! Thanks! On another note, I finally got the final DVD with Operation 5. I gotta say I LOVED it. I delayed getting it because it seemed like everyone was trashing it saying it was boring and not having much of a battle...what the hell were they talking about!! Lots of combat and even got to see more of my beloved FFR-31 Sylphid!!! I'll have to watch it agian to make sure I fully comprehend it...like I had to with the rest of the series. Overal, I found the Yukikaze OVA a very enjoyable series that requires a lot of thought to truely wrap ones mind around it .....or maybe I'm just slow. Chris

    I just hope it's not a Walmart exclusive thing again. I WAS fortunate to find one but it was the only time I ever saw one at any of my 4 area Super-Walmarts!!! Yet it seems that other areas of the country were saturated with them. Freeking sucks! Chris

    Me too. I never minded her too much till S3 especially the Dirty Hands episode about the Union. Suddenly she was a Baltar supporter thinking bad things about Adama and the alot of the officers..."He caved in?....I knew it." GOD she annoiyed me in that episode. Chris

    One thing that...well...I don't know if it bugs me or not, I guess I find it more amussing, is how they changed the text in the introduction from "Cylons were created by man...blah blah blah...and they have a plan" To 7 are known one will be revealed. It just seems like the writers realized that the whole plan thing wasn't panning out because it sure didn't seem like the Cylons had one, so they desided to focus on the last unknown cylon instead.     MMMMMMM Racetrack!!!!! [Drools] I was thinking the same thing about Roslyn. She is really getting self-ritious now. I liked what adama said to her...even though he was drunk speaking of what Adama said to her......what if Lee ends up being the "dying Leader." Or at very least he may become President one day after Roslyn dies. Great Episode!!! Don't you just love the hipocracy of the cylons!? I've been saying it since the 1st season and now it's finally comming to a head!!! Chris
