Fighter is the most important mode for me but it doesn't mean I don't want a transforming Valk, it just means I'm willing to live with sacrifices to Batt. mode as long as fighter mode look the best. As for just buying a model......2 things: 1) there is NO fighter model availble or slated to be released by anyone of the VF-25. The transforming model that bandai is making would require ALOT of work to get a nice smooth looking fighter, and IMO it looks like Poo in fighter mode. 2) Buying a model could also be said to the Batt. mode fans out there. In fact there are more Batt. mode models and figures out there for the various valks than there are for fighter mode. Don't get me wrong, I want something that looks good in all modes, just fighter is the most important to me. Don't forget, Valks are Fighter jets that turn into robots, not the other way around. I keep getting internet explorer cnnot open this page message. Can someone have a mod post the pics? If it is more pics of the painted Resin Ozma fighter from the first page, I'd like to see it, but it dosn't appear to be transformable which really wont give us an accurate representation of what the toy's fighter will look like. Fighter mode is what I really care about. I'm still waiting to have a GOOD look at fighter, especially from profile, to see if it is sleek as it should be. Chris

I gotta say after looking at the comparison pics, I think the main problem is that the legs are sitting too high on the crotch piece. I if the top of the intakes would be even with the top of the crotch, I think the whole thing would look alot thinner... along with the head maybe being a little higher. The leg placement , though, is what is throwing off the overall look I'd say. Overall, IMO not too bad. Chris

The problem is, that transformable Gundam, SoC, ect....while the toys may be complex and accurate to there anime counterpart the DESIGN is still blocky(at least vehical mode) and IMO ugly. People keep bringing up Bandai's SoC line as an example of how great they are, but when I look them the vehicle's are totaly uninspiring, frankly I don't get why they choose that as they example of how good they are....they look like transformers, and that is not a good thing . Valks are supposed to be sleek and streemlined. So good for Bandai if they can make and accurate robot that turns into a block with wings, but that's not what Macross is about. I have nothing against Bandai, but IMO their track record with Macross isn't that good. THAT's what we are complaining about. Chris

Yup, here we go all over again. people are already confusing 1/60 prototypes with the 1/100. Chris

I have a feeling that the armoured pack will come later WITH an Ozma VF-25. They don't want to announce this because then sales of the standard Ozma would be low because nobody wants to by the valk twice just for the armour. I don't know this but I'm considering canceling my Ozma pre-order just in case. sucks too because I really want it . Must think about it though. Chris

Thanks David, this is MUCH better!!! Now, I really need to know if the Super parts are comming with the release or not. I have both on pre-order but if I have to buy the valk all over again to just get the darn fast packs(as Bandai has done in the past) I'll cancel my pre-orders. Chris

Meh! I'm disappointed that all they did was apparently take the standard canopy and just move the frame/bar forward. I'm passing. Chris

Good news!!!! I was a little conserned since the last info we heard was that they didn't have the go-ahead, with the design they had, yet glad to hear it IS moving along and that Graham has even seen it!!!! Looking forward to pictures. The 11 is my favorite too. Chris

The canopy...to me...looks more VT-1 than VF-1D....or a cross between the 2. Still hard to tell from that angle though. but I was hoping for the nice long VF-1D canopy, never realy cared for the VT-1. Chris

Yup, here you go. This was posted on another forum a few months ago and was the first time I finally got to see it too. It's really poor quality but you can get the gist of it. If you notice you can see probably where TNS got their insiration for their Raider from. Chris
