I really need to get the first season on dvd to remember what I saw. I can't remember which epi it was just that I think I remember someone looking at the Conners house or .....somewhere and just seeing their arm with the barcode tat on it. Maybe I'm just imagining things.....but I "thought after that was shown we see the girl in school who always had the long sleeves on.... Chris

I've been wondering about those things too. What was with the house and the suicides. Also, didn't they show someone else, I believe a female judging by the size of her arm, that had the prisoner Tatoo at johns school. I was thinking it could be Riley, but I just don't know. They seemed to have dropped certain arcs, or at least put them on the back burner for the time being. Chris

Actually what Reese says in the first movie is that the Machines did loose and that killing Conner then wouldn't matter. They sent the Terminater back to make sure Conner never existed so they could win. The Machines loose, that's why they are obsessed with Killing young John because he will bring about their end. Good to know! I just placed a preorder for the Ozma VF-25S with them. They still have it at 3600 JPY and my EMS quote is 2800 JPY not to bad. I hope I get one, not sure if they order stop or anything. Does anyone know how that works with Rainbow 10? Chris -

Is Rainbow 10 a reliable vender......it seems like a really complicated order system. Chris -

When the hell did the Ozma go up for pre-order on HLJ? I've been checking and it's been like 2 days since I last checked and now it's showing an order stop!!! Chris -
Bandai 1/60 DX VF-25 transformable toy thread
Dobber replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Is the lower foot cuff just miss transformed in that profile picture? It should be flush with the rest of the leg. If the leg can secure to the fuselage better so they don't hang so low hen I may be tempted to buy one, but still not really happy with this. I do realize that this is still not finished and I hope this thing locks together much better than it looks like it does at the moment, because it look like it has nastey gaps all over it at the moment. I guess we'll see. Chris -
Frankly i'm just tired of the bad guys always seeming to have the upper hand and the "heroes" only win through chance. Also, Sylar seems to learn how to use new powers pretty damn quick yet many of our heroes seem to still need alot of practice....particularly Peter. I really hated how last season He pretty much got his ass kicked and I don't even think landed a single blow against Sylar in their final battle. Just getting kinda of tired of incompitent heroes and nearly unstoppable villians. At least give us one bad ass hero that even the big baddies will think twice about messing with. Chris

Bandai 1/60 DX VF-25 transformable toy thread
Dobber replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
If that is the case then that's even worse for me. I guess I'm one of the few who don't like the 1/55 chunky monkeys....too toy like (since that is what they are) They where nice for their time, 25 years ago, but thats it. They are too inacurate, besides nostalgia, I just don't understand their appeal. If the VF-25 DX is trying to replicate that then that really sucks IMO. Chris -

Preorder canceled. I am 1 of thefighter mode people here and it looks pretty bad IMO...and like what someone else said none of the modes really look good. Eugimon and a few others have already said just about everything that I feel about this thing. I understand the reasons why the model looks better as Azreal stated, BUT....this is just a toy for kids....not at $130. It's supposed to be high end. This doesn't look high end at all. If I'm wrong, great....I'll get it later, but as of now I'm passing. Chris -

Gotta agree also, not a big deal to me if they just fold on the outside like the 19. Chris -

Never , but this is were my concern was because if it needs it when it's resting on the gear how would it be on a stand without the support there? Are there specific stands that need to be used? I usually just use the Flexi dispay stands which would use a 3 point peg system. Glad to hear that it is sturdy though. Chris -

Which is good to know, but also indicates that there is a potential problem area since it needs the extra support. At any rate, I still ordered and am looking forward to getting it. Chris -

Well, I pre-ordered one with HLJ. It does look really nice but I am a little concerned by that grey "stand/peg" that is prett much dead center in the fighter mode shots when it is resting on the landing gear. Is this an indication that this is a floppy mess without the extra support for the center? Chris -

Yeah, it would be nice to at least get a confirmation of if it is real or not. Personally, I think it looks real good, except for the tiny stabs. I really like the nose. Chris -

The nose section is the one area I really liked about the old 1/72 VF-11....and what I hated about the SHE kit. The SHE's was too much like a duck bill...Graham knows what I mean. Chris P.S. Man do I want to see SOMETHING that is definately official. -
Superion!! Chris

I'm really suprised by the level of secrecy that is apparently surrounding this thing....not even the 19 or the 21 was like this.....and they are the hero valks from M+. I hope it means that tis will be something special since the 11 is one of my fav's. Chris -
Yes again, for the reasons that graham has stated in both of his proposals. Definately, VF-11 and other Mac+ valks, the VF-0 Line and SV-51. Alternate payloads missiles gunpods excetra.....fuel air bomb anyone? Oh, and I do have the ability to build nice models but I don't always have the time to do it. It would be nice to have nice looking fighters without having to invest all the time and money into a model. Believe it or not you guys, but building a model, well, is alot more expensive than just buying a kit. Chris
-
YES!!!!! They would need good accessories though like missiles and fast packs. I would hope these would be cheaper than the batt's though. Chris
