IIRC they will. They show the old VF-0's mounted on them so I pretty sure that it uses the same mounts. At least I'm hoping so...I got 4 on order and plan on getting a few more if they work out well. Hopefully Yamato won't box them in 1/60 size boxes so we can save on shipping!! They really need to take lessons from Bandai on how to properly box toys Chris

Good news, I've been waiting for the TV 1A to be released. Mine is already paid for through Overdrive. I hope the stands come out soon too. Chris

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Model Kit Thread Ver.3

Actually there are 3 options. The plain Yellow, the Speed Miracle Spacey, and the Strategic Military Services. All options are included as only that "stripe" needs to be replaced to make the version you want. Chris -

Wasn't that how Gilliams VF-25F was before Alto took over. I believe that is the only difference in the markings between Gilliams original scheme and what we see the rest of the time when Alto is piloting it. EDIT: OOOPS re-read your post and you already identified that. -
I just love it when someone says something negative about the DX people jump right in and start trashing yamato and saying how unbalanced this place is, and why nobody trashes yamato over their issues and how impartial they are being because the obviously love Yamato.....obviously these people haven't been here very long! LOL! Anyway, thank you for the heads up on the canopy tint. I'll just be carefull not to mess with the inside of them. My 1D canopy didn't stay closed at first either, but I just needed to squeeze Hikarus shoulds alittle to get it to stay shut. Now no problems. Looking forward to the VT-1 too!! Chris

Guys, Rainbow Rainbow Ten has it for 6400 yen. Their shipping is always fair too. I've gotten all of my 1/72's from them and have had no problem plus they always seem to be cheaper than hlj or elsewhere. I'd recomend them. Plus you don't have to pay upfront, but they do frown on cancelations but they do know that it sometimes happens. You should give them a try if you haven't Chris -

Anyone know if they are going to include the 4 reaction missiles with the Armoured VF-25S? Just noticed in the model thread that the 1/72 model will have them included but haven't noticed them on the DX version. The model looks damn sexy! BTW. Here are pics of the 1/72 prototype, so you can see what I'm talking about reagarding the missiles. http://shop.hobbyist-inc.com/online/detail...e=4543112587657 Chris -

Also love how it comes with the reaction missiles too. I don't think the DX has them. These models just rule over the DX Chris -

You know that's a really good question. I don't think they are far enough along, though, to know if the set will include the first 4. Hopefully they will. Chris- 1217 replies

Except for the High price of Blu-ray. If prices don't come down it may kill the format. When DVD's hit the market they weren't more expensive than VHS, yet Blu-rays seem to hold the $29.99 price! Definately keeping me from buying many.....and there are several movies and sets I want too, they're just too damn pricey. As is I only own 4 Blu-rays. As for the season release on DVD or BR, Lucasfilm stated later this year. I'll see if I can find the link. Chris Edit: found the link. http://www.starwars.com/theclonewars/news_...ivided_dvd.html- 1217 replies

Battlestar Galactica Discussion III

What made Torri so repugnant (spelling?) to me wasn't even the Cally thing, though that is a part of it, but, it was just her general attitude After she found out who she was....especially after she went to the Cylons. She had no problem letting Deanna kill hostages during the stand off and then her whole the humans suck attitude and it's all their fault (which Tigh thankfully put her back in place over) after these people have been protecting her sorry ass for the past 4 1/2 years!! Yes the fives personalities changed somewhat, but, they still knew who the where and had most of their original personalities intact. Tyrol, was already a little imbalanced, remember him beating Cally at the end of Season 2, long before he was decided to be a cylon. I think the Chief, was understanbly messed up....look what happened to the poor guy. His love...Boomer.....is found out to be a Cylon after she attempts to kill Adama ( a man he greatly respects) after he put his ass on the line covering for her with the whole hatch being left open issue, and one of his deck gang takes the fall for him. Then he starts a relationship with Cally. Things go bad on New Caprica. Once they escape, things are strange in the fleet with the Us vs. them mentality of the settlers and the fleet. He's under stress of being a new father......then Wham!! he discovers he's a cylon. Everything he fealt about Boomer, and everything he did on New Caprica and so on is turned upside down. Next Cally "kills herself" not long after this new revelation. He's confused and angry so he lashes out at Cally to the old man...partly because he is pissed that she would do that, but also because of everything that happened with Boomer. So he just gives up. I loved when he just laughs when he and Anders are arrested for being cylons...sorta like he's saying "figures, what else could go wrong" Then, he finds out that his son isn't even his...one more strike against that vile, weak, little piss-ant Cally. Now Boomer returns, his first real love. He problably feels guilty over what happened to her....Cally abandoned him, he just can't let her die. He probably was thinking that "Boomer did have good intentions on NC it just didn't work out that way. She can't be all bad right? Besides look how we treated her what we did to her, while I'm a cylon and I've been welcomed back to the fleet." Then Wham!!!!! Stabbed in the back again! Then Finally when he finds out the Cally didn't kill herself and that it was Torri....yikes....imagine all that resentment he had for Cally....all that anger that was misplaced....again. Poor guy, to me he seems like the most realistic..."human" character on the show. Chris -
That's what I wasn't sure of either. I just bought a second Alto to use one of my 3 super packs with.....seemed like too much work to disassemble a built kit to put the super parts on. Going to leave my Ozma clean cause I don't want to cover up the Skull logo. So I'll definately have a Super Alto and Michael, a clean Ozma, but I wasn't sure which way to go with Luca. If/ when they release an armoured Ozma, I just buy a bundle set, not worth the effort to buy a separate set...if they do that. Chris

Welcome to Macrossworld! I have the v.1 Ivanov (that I repainted, see my Avatar, and you can see more of it in my signiture link if you are interested) The Ivanov was pretty good quality wise. The main issues I think it had where one of the wing hinges needed to be Flipped, other wise it wouldn't fold completely. That isn't really a hard fix but still something worth reporting. It also tended to be a little floppy in the wing area, but members here found that just a dab of clear nailpolish or even super glue works great to make them very sturdy. Just be sure to move the joint while the glue dries, that way it won't actually set the wing straight but instead will just make it tighter. I don't have the other 2 versions but I think they were both prettymuch perfect QC wise. So it really comes down to what look you like better. Hope this helps. Chris

Would you guys want the "arms" to be detachable so that you could have scaled ARMD's to escort the sdf-1...or to just zoom around Looks like it would be fairly simple to do. Chris
