STILL waiting for my TV Max from Overdrive. I paid a LONG time ago and used EMS shipping yet most of you seem to have gotten your Max's already from OD. Arrg! Chris

The best way to differentiate them is the "eye" visor. the DYRL version sticks out while the TV version is "in" the head. Also the Head seems to taper towards the back of the head becoming skinnier while the TV version stays thicker. I also think the TV version is more "rounded" while the DYRL version has the harder edges. That's why I've been asking someone to take pictures of the 2 heads side by side so we can see the differences. So far no one has Chris

I'm really liking the Brown tint to the Feet/engine nozzles. Someone else also asked, what is the difference between the DYRL CF and the TV CF 1A's besides the head? Chris

Does Over-drive ever restock? I'm wanting to get a 1S now but they are sold out and HLJ is about $20 more expensive. Chris

Yes, the TV version is greenish and a the shade is a bit lighter, while the DYRL version is darker and more blue. Also the Arm armor is slightly different as the launcher end is a smooth slope instead of U shaped. I think the TV version won't come with the strike cannon part though. Chris

Could someone post some compairison photos of the DYRL 1A and tv 1A heads? I'd really like to see some compairson shots to see the differences. Thanks. Chris

Yup, and that would leave more plastic. So the distance from the edge of the peice to the hole will be greater thus look thicker. Same size peice but with the smaller whole there will be more plastic. Chris

Besides the "eye sensor" not sticking out like the DYRL 1A does I don't see any defference between it and this TV style. Can you post any compairison shots? I thought there would be more changes. Chris

Man! God only knows how long until Over-drive will get these out. AFAIK they've been saying that the problem will be fixed soon, all month. Why would moving screw up your web shop? Chris

There is no such thing as an F-14C. The M0 Tomcat was a mix of the A and D models. It has the chin pod of the D but the seats of the A. I believe it also has the B/D's engines. I don't recall if it had the ECM bumps under the wing gloves. David will be able to help you out, I'm sure he'll pop in here soon! Chris

I think that the title to this thread needs to have the question mark removed. I almost over looked this thread because I thought it was another "do you think" or "will they ever?" type thread. Some people may be missing this. Chris

Yup, Max was the flight lead flying a 1S in DYRL after Hikaru and Misa were recovered. The scene where Kakisaki gets killed and then Max takes on Miriya. Chris

IIRC they will. They show the old VF-0's mounted on them so I pretty sure that it uses the same mounts. At least I'm hoping so...I got 4 on order and plan on getting a few more if they work out well. Hopefully Yamato won't box them in 1/60 size boxes so we can save on shipping!! They really need to take lessons from Bandai on how to properly box toys Chris
