  1. Nice work! IIRC you build your straight out of the box right? Chris
  2. Simply beautiful work Rabid!!! Chris
  3. That's cool but not the one I was thinking of. The one I was thinking of had pretty close to line art accurate leg transformation and was painted grey and white. Chris
  4. Does anyone remember the custom perfect transformation Hasegawa 1/72 vf-1 that a board member made a few years ago? I would appreciate a link to the pictures I can't seem to find it anywhere. Chris
  5. and fix the nose cone!!! Chris
  6. I also like Werehouse 13.....I'm sure I spelled it wrong Chris
  7. Not sure but it looks like the fixed one of MY biggest problems with the DX sculpt...the nose cone. the 25's nose cone looked like it was put on upside down on the DX. When I flipped the 1/72's cone upside down it ended up with the some ugly beek that the DX had. The 27 really is looking pretty nice....so far. Chris
  8. Woohoo! Stopped by Walmart after work and scored a MP Skywarp!!! Thank god no long hunt! They had a whole endcap of them. Maybe they won't be hard to find as SS was. I was, though, shocked by the price ....$60! Chris
  9. Maybe one day Takara will make a MP movie SS and other figures. Chris
  10. LOL! I feel your pain. Plus after handling the first voyager SS I was convinced that with the slightest bit of effort a pretty nice figure (acurate in both modes) could be made. I (wrongly) figured that a scaled up version would allow for smaller hinges and such and we would get a great looking replica. I keep forgetting that this is first and foremost a childrens toy. Chris
  11. Thanks Tober. Do you know if they are fair with their shipping costs too? Chris
  12. Not familiar with them. Are they a good store to buy from? Also, when do you pay for pre-orders? Chris
  13. I really liked this news series premier. I really like the original also as a kid. Hope the show can make it for a while. Chris
  14. Sigh, I don't know why I even got my hopes up for that thing.....Stupid me was thinking maybe...MAYBE...it would be closer to a MP. A definate pass for me. Chris
  15. Doubt it would happen, BUT.....if it did areas the could be improved would be the arms hanging low fix, like what was done in the V.2 1/60's and the wide canopies that both the 1/48 and the v2 1/60's have. Design wise, imo, the v.2's seem to be pretty close to perfect as I think they can get except the wide canopy thing and that isn't even too bad. Chris
  16. I really like the metalic look of the prototype. Chris
  17. Wow, looks really nice! I'd love to see more. Chris
  18. I've been thinking about getting Halo 3 and Halo ODST. I've never played the Halo games before, so will I be lost if I start on the 3rd game story or gameplay wise? Chris
  19. Yup that is what it is. Funny this happened to you, just last week I picked mine up for the first time in a while and transformed it. I found the same part laying next to me. It's just a screw cover from the inside of a leg, no worries Chris
  20. Yeah, I liked it too. Not saying it's a great movie or anything, and it has it moments that I really don't like, but I wasn't expecting an oscar worthy movie either. I thought it was just a fun movie that did have it's flaws, but was still fun non the less for me. Chris
  21. Gotta say, from what I see of the fighter mode for the LC SS....it just looks off. It's still just one picture but I was hoping for better. Chris
  22. So far so good, man I hope the F-22 looks good ala the MP SS and an F-15. Chris
  23. This looks great!!! I wonder if they'll actually include weapons.......probably not. Chris
  24. I like it too, but the price is WAY to steep. I got the VF-11B and I love it, but I was kinda hoping the price would have come down a bit. Oh well. Chris
  25. So I take it no new pictures or info have come out for the Leader class SS? Chris
