Then yamato or Bandai have their scales way off, cause the 1/60 DX VF-27 is significantly smaller than the 1/60 VF-0 when it's supposed to be barely larger. Chris

Got mine yesterday! This thing is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Totally love it! I also have a crooked 101 on the right side v. Stab. No biggie thoug, seems to be a common issue. Didn't realize that the VF-27 was so small though.....if this truely is 1/60, to me it looks like it's closer to 1/72 with all the design similarities with the massive SV-51. When you look at this next to other 1/60 valks even newer designs like the YF-21 and VF-11 the just look soooo much more robust compaired to the Lucifer. It's a REAL shame that bandai blew it (IMO) with the DX VF-25's design. I'd get a redesigned VF-25 with the improvements that the VF-27 has ...... corrected nose cone, leg position and wing root locking in fighter, Gerwalk posability, and long landing gear.......in a heart beat. This is now one of my favorite valks. The only thing that worries me is the paint and markings comming off. Overall though, homerun Bandai!! Chris

Still waiting for mine from AmiAmi. Sent EMS Friday...should have it today though according to the tracking Number. Still takes things longer to get to me hear I will say that it is MUCH faster than HLJ's EMS. That usaully takes about a solid week. Chris

You guys are lucky that you live on the west coast when it comes to getting shippments from Japan. I still have to wait for it to get across the country to me after the big hop across the pond. This has been my first purchase from Ami Ami and I gotta say I've been very happy with them. Good prices and quick responces to email questions. Lowers head in shame... Dirge is a good toy though right? From what I can see it seems to be one of the few decent aircraft transformers....ie...not a whole lot of kibble or a robot hanging under an aircraft sort of thing. Chris

Funny you mentioned that. I just preordered the hasegawa vf-1 kit from them yesterday, got my order number which was different from my dx order which was done over a month ago. Later in the day I got another email showing theycombined the 2 orders. I sent them an email asking them what happens if 1 item is released by the end of the month and the other is not....though they both are stated as late Feb releases, since they have the half off shipping this month. I haven't heard from them yet, though I only sent them the email this morning. Also, I requested the small package parcel thing they have but if the combined order is too big what is the method of shipping that they would use? Ems? Chris

So this is going to be my first bandai pre-order purchase, through amiami. Is bandai pretty good with release dates? Since this is supposed to be released in a week. Also, is Amiami pretty quick with getting items and shipping them out? Very excited about the dx vf-27. Chris

Totally agree with Chronocidal. You should use his CAD picture to illustrate the difference to Yamato. That Really looks SOOOOO much better to me. Also like what he and David have said separate the intakes from the hip LERX. Any chance they'll do a version 2 1/60 YF-19 with any of the inevitable design changes? Chris

Very cool! I too am hoping for some big changes in the design over the YF-19. I agree that droping the nose would help alot. Bandia's Hi Metal looks pretty darn good especially being at 1/100 scale. I just sold my yf-19.....it was the ugly duckling of my collection, so here's to hoping for some nice improvments on the design. Chris

I'd have to search again, but aren't there supposed to be differences between the DYRL and TV valk canopies? Thought I remembered lineart that showed the DYRL era block Valk canopies had a "lip" in the front frame with some vents were as the TV valks had the smooth transition from the nose to the canopy. Tenjin's box art also illistraits this to, not that that makes it cannon though. Chris

Tober, do you know if that is typical to not have your order in their system anymore? I placed the order on Nov 9 and a month, or so, ago I checked their web site to see what my order status was and it was there, but now it's not. Even the link posted a few pages back to the item doesn't really work anymore. It will take you to the item but there is no longer any info on it and like what Miriya said their web site is HORRIBLE. Anyone know if they typically cancel peoples orders with no notice? If hey did, no biggie I'll just order the kit version from HLJ for about the same cost. Miriya, is your order still there? Chris
