As a fighter mode guy (like me) do you like the sculpt of the blazer valk...looks pretty close to me from what I can tell to the lineart. A little OT, do you have any concerns for the looks of the 1/60? Granted the Kai stayed in batt. mode the most, but if they do make the F/S off of the kai's mold we may get the short end of the stick again. I'm just suprised that Bandai was able to make a nice pretty sleek fighter while still delivering a pretty accurate Batt. mode in such a small scale. Surely a larger scale would make things easier. Actually the 19f/s have a slightly different canopy shape too in the Master file (Not as drastic as they are in the line art)....as do the Basara Types...sorry can't remember what the letter variant is for it. But I doo like the more commonality of the variants in the book. Chris

I find myself in the same boat as you. Loved the animated series and was really excited for this movie and had high hopes. Now, after seeing so many negative reviews, I'm not sure if I want to go see it anymore. Interested in what other fans think of it too. Chris

Thanks Shin. I'm over it now, it just bugged me at the time, not anyone in particular, I just didn't see any proof of it comming with the stand besides Renato's statment. Should've just asked more directly, just thought someone would've answered if they new and I didn't want to come off argumentative...which is funny because that's exactly how I was later! LOL Chris

Actually it WAS your post that made me ask the question. Too many times we see pictures that show a display stand displayed with the toy, or someone makes an assumtion that it will,and then the stand is not included. Just because it is shown in the pictures means nothing, which is why I asked the question and again later on wondering if the text below the pictures stated if a stand is included, especially because they showed a couple different stands in the pictures. You never mentioned before that you read it in a mag. you just said it even comes with a stand. after pictures were shown of it on a couple diferent stands (see reason above). Again, shouldn't be so hard for someone to answer, and evidently wasn't when the write person asks or makes a statement on such Chris

Finally just watched it....I gotta say I liked it. I think Young is just trying to be the type of Leader that he looks up too (Gen. O'Neil) so he's taking a chance and rolling the dice. I agree with snowblind, bigger risk but bigger reward / smaller risk but much less reward if any. On a different topic, I really liked the music of this episode particularly the end que with the drums. I've really liked much of the music from this show especially the que I just mentioned and the Destiny recharging in the star que. Hope they release the soundtrack. Chris

Great build....looks like you could also say this was a non-transforming prototype for the YF-21 ala the VF-X for the VF-1. Chris

So does this come with a stand or not....I know the Kai didn't, but some have said above that it will. I've looked back through the thread and don't see it mentioned anwhere else. If this is focusing on Battroid mode more, I'll proably be passing on this one too. It'll probably make fighter mode look horrible due to the extremely fat legs. Glad for you Battroid fans though, but I'm a fighter mode guy. Chris
