    Cool, thanks danbickell, I always noticed the front lip but for some reason never noticed all the other changes that where made. Too bad no acurizing parts were never made for the toys or models. Nice renders too BTW. Chris

    How are the toys and models DYRL in the front? I've noticed the difference too, but saw that they where all the "smoth/blended" nose to canopy of the TV Valks vs. the liped DYRL that have the "vents"type that can be seen here. http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossdyrl/vf-1a-fastpack/vf-1-dyrl-cockpit2.gif What was different about the movies rear canopy? Never noticed. I mentioned this a while ago in some thread can't remember which but like you said no one seemed to care. Chris

    I know some didn't like the New Jedi Order series, but I LOVED it!! Would be a great animated series I think. Chris

    Yeah, wasn't suggesting that there would be a hi metal release, I just remembered I'd seen a picture of the new J that showed some other differences to Fighter mode...namely the canopy. That would be a must for me if yamato decided to make one. Chris

    That's what I'm hoping for too. I LOVE the cloverleaf scheme of the VF-19E in the back of the master files book. I'd consider painting the kai up like that as a custom but Red and Yellow are a super-bitch to cover up and any chipping would stick out like a neon sign. Hell, I even painted my Hasegawa 1/48 YF-19 like the VF-19A in the other clover leaf scheme. Would be cool to have them both. Chris

    Graham, there more changes to the 1J than just the head and pilot. Image taken from the Macross ace thread. If Yamato could actually make the changes to the canopy, head ect...and not just repaint ala the VFX, I'd buy it. Chris

    I didn't realize that the trailer actually had major parts required to make the space winibago. So If the american release isn't going to have the Trailer, I take it it's only going to be a Hot Rod release then? What about the Rodimus Robot parts?? Kind of confused. Chris

    Yup, that's why I love it. Keeps everthing we love about the Kai's design (overall airframe) and tosses what many don't like (the head, color scheme, and guitar) Looks like I'm still the only one that wants one though. Really want them all just the E seems a kick and easy repop of the Kai but in military colors not McDonalds. Chris

    Well I got the VF-1S Strike, and I gotta say I'm quite impressed. Didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. Shame they are making these things so hard to get though with all the exclusives. Hope they still make the 21 and 19. Chris EDIT: Forgot to ask, where are you guys getting the U.N Spacy sticker/decal for the legs and leg armor. Really sucks that Bandai didn't tampo them on.

    I went with the E. Loved it since I got the Master files book and would basically be just a repaint of the current Kai with some very minor changes. The Kai mold is looking great but suffers from being the Kai....if that makes any sense. Chris I'd also love just about any of the others too though.

    I always just figured that Rex was with Vader in the assault on the Jedi Temple. I know he wasn't named but none of the clones besides Cody were, and the temple assualt force was Skywalker and Rex's unit wasn't it. To me it just makes Order 66 that much more tragic, watching these men we've come to like (Cody, Rex, and others) betray their comrades. Sad really. I'd be interested to see how they faired after it was all said and done and they had time to really think about what happened. Chris

    DAMN IT!!!!!! I just noticed that the forward little antenna on the bottom of my BPX fell off and I can't find it anywhere!!!! Anyone have any resin skills and could possibly cast a copy. This is really going to limit the resale value now!!! Frak! Chris

    Anyone notice that the "Mother" was a direct copy of the concept art for a Sith Witch from the art of episode I book. I remember this because I thought it was creepy looking....very cool Chris

    I also liked how Vader prevented Fett from shooting Chewie.....since when does Vader give a poo about a Wookie? Or maybe he didn't want his creation (3P0) from being hit. Chris

    I got to say, I never took that scene as you described it, but....wow, that is pretty cool. I may be the only one here but the Clone Wars series is really letting me appreciate episode III much more. The fleshed out backgrounds for the characters really does make me feel for them much more in the movie, particularly Anakin. Chris
