    Yeah me either, I came close to pro-ordering anyway....thinking about trying a repaint since there is no guarantee the will make a repaint of the Kai. Plus Red stands out like a M********KER and would be difficult to cover up from all angles on the 19 series. Chris

    What gap are you refering to? There is a black stripe between the upper yellow section and the lower red section, that is still visible in fighter mode.....but no gaps that I can see. Chris

    I don't particularly care for the political eps nor do I think they do them very well.....but.....they would be easier to tolerate if they were spaced out a bit more instead of being practically the whole first half of the bloody season! I hope the producers have learned from what seems, to me, like a pretty big misstep in season 3. Was there any kind of fall-ou/backlash over the first half of the season? Chris

    Yeah the 19F would look really nice next to the Max 22S I just got. Personally though, I really want a recolored Kai as a 19E, I really love the Kai's/E's design. Even as much as I love these designs....these prices are getting a little out of control and may not ever be able to get these. Hell the 11C is STILL ridiculously high and hasn't been on one of HLJ's great sales...so I'm worried the 19's won't be either. Chris

    Yeah, I was just thinking about pre-ordering one too. There will be more right?? I remember the 25's seemed like they didn't get more releases once they were sold out. Chris

    Still want to see it, but so far this year seems to be shaping up like last year.....movie-wise........lots of dissappointment. I think there were only a few movies I liked last year. Chris

    Awesome! Thanks Shaorin!! I can remember when I was a kid that I instantly LOVED that plane, and now 26 years later after finally seeing it again it doesn't dissapoint! Too bad I have zero scratch building skills I really want a model of that. Chris

    Ha!! I found the episode I was talking about. It's vanishing point and the jet is called the Hermes Jet. It can first be seen here: at 7:58 and again in part 2 and then it's fold up sequence at the start of part 3.Still pretty cool looking IMO. The animation is still pretty darn good too. Chris

    I loved MASK too. Does anyone remember an episode that had something to do with VENOM trying to steal a new military fighter aircraft that could fold up to fit into a cargo plane.....or something to that effect. I just remember as a kid I thought the fighter was really cool looking and would love to see it again. Chris Also MASK has IMO the best 80's cartoon theme song. Chris

    Yup, I'm tempted to get another along with a few more VF-25's now that they are up for pre-order. I'm finding I really love the 20 series Variable fighters 21/22, 25,27, and 29. Hope they continue to make fighters in this model series. I'd love to get a 27 and SV-51....not to mention the 19's 21/22, 0, 1,4...... Chris

    Nice, I've been considering a custom scheme for mine as well but I do dig the actual colors too. Problem is, if you want to build it as a proper model with sanding seams and painting the entire model, the cannon scheme is a bit complex when you really get to look at it. Lots of little edges. One down side to the kit is that it only has stickers and not proper decals. Chris

    Never had a problem with SAL either, though it has taken several weeks to arrive most of the time. A few times it did arrive very fast like Eugimon and UN Spacy said. HLJ, just sent me my shipping notification for my Max VF-22 via FedEx. Let's see how long it takes to get here. Chris

    Not stupid at all, check the link in my sig line below. (page 2 in the link have the better fighter mode pics) I also weathered my VF-0A and 0S and added a little more dark grey to the stab. on the 0A. Incidentally, the are both original releases and haven't broke or fallen apart either. Granted they mainly stay in fighter mode, but I have transformed them a few times after they originally arrived.     Well it was a toss up between the Gamlin 22 or the Max 22. Originally I was going to get the Gamlin but in the end I bought the Max 22s. Hope I made the right descision. Anyone have the Max and/or Gamlin? I am also tempted by the Nora SV-51...but I dodn't think I should go that far. Eugimon, I'm with you on the 19 but it has been a bit disheartening that the 11's seldom, if ever for the 11C, go on sale and usually not for that much off. You'd figure Yamato would see how well these things sell when they are at a good price. Granted this sale is a bit much, but what they are asking for these days when they come out is just as bad just on the other side of the scale. I'd imagine pricing in between the 2 extremes would work well for them right off the bat. Anyway, I chose Fed-ex shipping, it was a little cheaper than the EMS for me...at least going by their estimate on the product page. Chris

    Especially if they are still using parts from the DX VF-25 series. That's what I'm worried about. I don't want anything from the original DX 25 series in this or a v2. DX 25. To me, that thing requires a complete remold not an update. Chris

    Just been catching up on what's been happening since I went to bed last night, I was horrified! This, is somewhat of a relief though. I wonder why the coolant system the U.S. was willing to send was refused? Ganted I'm sure it would take some time to get there but... Chris Chris

    Thanks for the info. I really hope things can start to stabalize so the Japanese can catch their breath. I also hope the reactor problem can be contained....like Hoveringcheesecake said, that could be worse than the quake itself. Glad to here that the U.S. Navy was already enroute to lend assistance along with the Japanese and our service personal stationed in Japan. Are temps in Japan supposed to stay low the next serveral days? Chris

    My god, U.S. news just reported that Japanese officials are expecting a death toll of over 1000. I hope they are wrong and that rescue crews can help. I'm sure the world will help Japan ASAP. To all of our friends there in Japan, stay safe and warm if you are still without heat. Chris
