Ok, it's decided then, I will do the digital camo on 1 of my VF-11's (the colored tail one!) and the other maybe a Flanker scheme or just a random U.S. scheme. Already have the 1/60 yamato so the standard color is covered! Chris

YUP! As for customs 1 of mine will definately be Flanker camo..(gotta keep my flanker schemes going ). Someone posted a picture of a VF-11 artwork with the blue camo and it looked sweet! My second not sure yet. Chris

Man, just re-color this thing gray or white and put a standard pilot in it and it would be a grand-slam! Hell, the origianl Low-vis VF-1 wasn't anything special or complex...just gray plastic and a light gray gunpod. didn't need to have a complex paint scheme and it was arguably one of the most popular Valks ever. Gorgeous!! That overall shot is closer to a profile view and I think it looks fantastic!!! I was tempted to get more than just 2 of these since there are a few different things I'd like to do but I agree that those holes look like fast-pack attachment points.....so I'll wait to see what possible re-releases come out down the line....for now Chris

I loved the VF-25 since I first saw it, I liked the slim nature of the design instead of the "super-robot" look alot of battroid designs have...mainly due to anime-magic of having completely different proportions in fighter and Battroid modes, but the DX VF-25 sculpt was a disgrace: Inacurate nose sulpt (looks like it was put on upside down) Low hanging, beefy engines in fighter mode. Ventral fins that hang straight down instead of at an angle like they are supposed to. Wings that for some reason curved up. Laughable "landing gear" Poorly done cockpit with little to no detail. and these were just the thing I can think of for fighter mode not even including QC issues. I get people have different prefrences..ie..some prefer fighter mode others prefer battroid. The skinny batt mode of the 25 is what made the 25 unique to me. I, however am a fighter mode guy and the DX 25 completely failed in that department. glad to see more effort has been going into these later designs. Chris

Never liked how the DX-25 looked in any mode, but I do find it amussing that so many others now dislike it too, when they first said that they loved it. Some even went as far as to say it looked chunky because that was how it the 25 was supposed to look! Glad we are all on the same page now! Chris

I too find the Club-M to be "THE" VF-11 model but I still think the Hasegawa version looks pretty damn sweet too. Plus I think it'll look better once painted. Frankly, I'm just glad it doesn't look like the horrid SHE model with that stupid looking "duck-bill" nose. Chris

Loving the series so far. Both the wife and I, though, are not liking the hatred/distast that Lady Stark shows for the "bastard"(sorry can't remember his name). Yes we get that he is a reminder of Starks infidelity, but that was not the boys fault. As my wife said...."It's been 17 years, get over it!" or at least take your venom out on the person that wronged you....your husband. I'm guessing more comes of this in the books as the story progresses? Chris

Yeah no kidding. Since i can't read Japanese, I just picture what ever is written at the top of that scan, The portion in Large red print, saying something like.... "DX- YF-29..Look, we didn't phone it in this time!" or "DX-YF-29..Now with actual landing gear and pilot!" Chris

My oh my she looks beautiful!! I wonder if there will be any alternate markings included or if it will just be a standard VF-11. Probably just the standard and then an eventual re-release with custom markings. So excited for this and I just about finished my Moon-Shooters VF-22s too. Chris

Looks like these are available now, just got my payment request from AmiAmi. Now they just need to combine my 2 orders for 2 of these I placed they are 2070JPY a peice shipped. I asked them to combine the 2 orders but they didn't maybe because I ordered another YF-29 from them also with the second order. Just sent them an email asking them to combine the 2 VF-25's to save on shipping. Hope they can. Chris

Hey David, in that link with the box art there are plan views and it looks like they use the Anime typ Stabs that you like instead of the "official" version. Maybe they will make the June release! Chris

Anyone else think that it's wishfull thinking for a June release? As for markings, the standard VF-11 markings are a given, but since Hasegawa usually has 2 or 3 different markings included maybe we'll get somethin a bit more cool. I like the markings that HLJ is using in the Hobbyshow info section. Chris
