    I wouldn't hold your breath. the VF-11's were/still are pretty pricey valks and they aren't much bigger than the VF-1. I'm afraid that Yamato has gotten a taste of really high prices (vf-19) and isn't like to go back down....like gas company's Chris

    You and me both! Regarding the F/S prototype, I was thinking the same thing about the proportions.......that the wings looked a bit better there (less stubby) It doesn't appear to have canards so I'm assuming it was an F/S Chris

    I was just going to ask what color the P was. Definitely not white, maybe really light gray or a cream color perhaps. I seriously doubt the will release the whale blood version before a standard version. Maybe as an exclusive later.     Waiting has paid off!! 19P looks sweet, just hope those speaker fins can be removed like we asked graham to pass along to Yamato. Not a big fan of those stupid stubby wings the F/S variants have but I may have to get one of those eventually too!!!! Chris Anyone else liking the look of the black and grey prototype as is Chris

    Wow! Look how sleek that fighter mode profile is! So glad I have this on preorder. Last concern is wether the subsequent variants will have the correct back plates. Damn, after seeing these pictures now I'm tempted for the rest of the line. Chris

    Anyone else catch the Lego star wars "The Padawan Menace" special that aired tonight a 7pm on cartoon network? It was hilarious and very well done. If you missed it look for a repeat showing you won't be sorry. Chris

    The 27 is really fine as is...sculpt-wise, BUT it still uses the old hip lock mechanism. I rarely transform my valks and just leave them in fighter mode. Last week I picked up my 27 and decided to transform it and for the life of me I could not get the crotch to lock into place. Don't know if I was doing something wrong but I could not get the peg to stay in place. Chris

    Ok, I really need to see this movie!!! Unfortunately, I have no clue what/where I need to go and do to view a fan sub. For the life of me, I can not remember how I was able to watch macross frontier fan subs because my old computer went kuput a few years ago and I can't remember what sites and programs I used. Any help? Chris

    Question, I thought the purple glass areas above the intakes were for the fold crystals, so why does it need more fold boosters? Also, do you have to prepay for preorders with Tokyo-hunter? Chris

    @whitestar I had the same problem with my shield but the I noticed that the connection plates weren't extended. There are 2 grey plates that slide out that slow the shield to connect to the fighter. Are yours extended? Chris

    Got my YF-29 yesterday. Gotta say I Love it!!! One problem with mine though that I haven't seen with anyone else. My front windscreen sticks up in the front instead of sitting flush with the nose. It's like it isn't inserted all the way in, I can see the tab/plug that inserts into the nose, but I can not push it in all the way. I tried to remove the part too but it will not come out. I'm considering cutting the tab so I can remove the front windscreen and then just remove the remaining tab and then glue the windscreen back on so it sits flush, but it still peeves me off. Not sure why I can't get the damn thing out of the plug though, I guess it must be glued in or something. Chris

    Just noticed a marking that is missing from the DX. It doesn't have the black triangular markings in front of the intakes. They are on the 1/100 model but not sure if there are on the CG. I know the 25 has them and I think the 27 has them as well. Pretty large markings to leave off imo. Still can't wait for mine to arrive. Chris

    Thanks Old Man!! I just placed my order!! Not too bad a price considering when it still came to a little over $200, even after the nice pre-order price, from the japanese vendors after shipping was calculated. Chris
