Did anyone else see the IMAX version of Ep II when it came out back in '02? It was edited considerably for some reason....memory limitations I think. Anyway, the edit was fantastic. It pretty much cut most of the romance stuff except just a few simple scenes and also cut some of Anakins tantrums. It left the ultimate "I love you" revelation by Padme' much more realistic and the whole romance more believable too since it didn't look so forced. Wish I could see it again or that it was the official version of the film. Chris

Well the VF-11 shows pretty much only the upper surfaces in battroid mode except for the front of the legs which would be the engine under-sides in fighter mode. I'm probably just going to stick with how the Fulcrum does it. I'll see how it goes as I'm working on it Chris

Yup, already planning on doing it that way. Now I just have to figure out what color to use for the radom and I'll have all my colors set. Just need to check what I have......I'm sure I have something that is similar to what the fulcrum uses. Chris

Colors I'll be using are light ghost grey overall. Nuetral grey the darker digital shade and euro gray as the darkest digi color. Chris

Hi guys, soooo I've begun work on my VF-11 and I plan on using the complex digi camo scheme that we had talked about in the old VF-11 kit thread but need some advise. The actual fulcrum that uses the camo scheme has it only on the upper surfaces.....but do you guys think it would look better as a complete wrap around or would that be too much and over-kill. It would definitely be easier for me to just do it as the real plan has it but doing a net search I saw other aircraft had a wrap around scheme too. Just wanted your input, nothing to show yet as I'm only at the begging of the cockpit, but build and masking should be starting this week. Thanks for any input, here is a picture of the camo scheme I plan on replicating on my Thunderbolt. Chris

Don't know anything about Captain Harlock, wouldn't know where to begin watching......but that Space Wolf looks so awesome!!! I pre-ordered it from HLJ. Chris

Yeah, I keep tottering between the P and the F, can't decide which one to get. Guess whenever we finally see some pictures I'll be able to choose. don't care about the S though. Chris

Regarding the VF-11B, that's why in my origianl post I said another VF-11B like maybe new markings or something...like they did with the VF-1 kits. Chris

Over at Starshipmodeler forums, one of the owners reported news from Japan, stating that some have been announced while others will be made official soon......but he's saying another 1/72 VF-11B kit is coming AND a VF-11D!!! I'll keep my eye out for any more info and asked if the 11D was a typo but if not......he'll ya! It has to do with the labeling and California state law. I think the warnings and such on the label have to in english, or something like that. Chris

I would disagree with renegadeleader1's mom's statement then. I don't think it's all "OOOOH DRAGONS!!" at all. I thought book 3 was pretty darn good, but found book 4 a bit harder to get through because I thought it was too much "political intrigue" and back stabbing and hardly any action.

Just the really mall grainy ones on the first page of the F or S. There is a better one of the P though. Very strange at the utter lack of pictures of all the upcoming releases 19F/S/P and the 17. Chris

Looks pretty damn cool IMO. Didn't think the colony would still be there though....unless it was farther from the atmosphere processing plant than originally thought. Still gonna pick this up. Question about the colors of the 19F and S. Would the blue on them or at least the 19F be like the Max 22S or more like the YF-21. Just thought that the 19F would look great next to the Max 22S since they are both blue with white stripes. Chris

The change that I liked least from the SE's was in Empire when Vader use to growl "Bring my shuttle" to the long winded "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival." The original growl was sooo much better and I thought really showed how pissed off Vader was that he failed to bring in Luke. Hope it will be changed back and that this stupid "no" is a fake. Chris
