    Man, I can't believe it's already been 10 years since zero came out. Biggest thing I disliked about the 1/48 is the extremely wide canopy, but overall both the 1/48 and the v2 1/60's are great representations of the VF-1. Chris

    Yeah, it was pretty incredible. Here is a link to video's of the story. When I first saw it, I was thinking...."ok, they are exaggerating the damage and that the aircraft probably lost just a bit of the wing tip or something...".     David, I take it you have seen images and heard the story of the Israeli F-15 that lost an entire wing in a mid air and was still able to return to base an land. Chris

    At one point, I believe Yamato was considering doing an SV-51 like my custom (see my sig. below) but it never panned out. I don't think the SV-51 sold very well. I would've loved to have seen a production of my splinter custom. Chris

    Great review veef. Really makes me appreciate the 17 a bit more. Question, in fighter mode, is that a gun barrel on the right leg under surface? It's not on the other leg. You may have mentioned it in your review but I got a phone call and may have missed your description and I'm not familiar with the design. Chris

    I forget was the large super expensive SDF-1 a resin kit? If this is a kit hopefully it will be like the VF-1 kits. Problem is, if it is a kit and it is a web shop exclusive that may not bode well for it being plastic....if the original SDF-1 was resin. Chris

    Interesting......price will be the big issue as is if HLJ will carry it. I know they have carried other web exclusives but have they carried all of them once they got the rights to do so? Chris

    Or maybe the VF-19F as the web exclusive.....but as others have said, even if it is it shouldn't be difficult to get with HLJ.

    Hmm, was thinking web exclusive too but a 19 kit would be interesting. Sure would make painting a master file style 19 much easier. Chris

    I have no stake in this since I don't care for the VF-17......particularly yamatos rendition...a bit too chunky looking in fighter mode for me, but that is a pretty bad gap behind the cockpit. Like the chest doesn't sit securely with the nose in fighter mode. Chris

    Just got my Harlock SW-190 Space Wolf. Looks freaking fantastic and I can't wait to start it. Surprisingly there are a ton of decals with lots of options. Chris
