Well, unfortunately they are filming in the brewery again so I guess JJ and crew didn't take the nearly universal criticism to heart, and there was a lot of well intentioned constructive criticism about the engineering set, not just haters, too. I didn't mind the "industrial" look to the engineering set, but it was too much and too big/spacious. Chris -

Plus, if you look at the un-fast packed VF-4 in that sketch, it doesn't have the upper/arm portion of the nacelles. Chris

They haven't really said but from what can be gleamed from the first episode the southern tribe was still much smaller and as far as I can tell the separate nations still exist, and republic city is where people from all nations can live together and work out their differences peacefully....kind of like Babylon 5.

Yeah, I keep thinking how mature this one shaping up to be and wondering what kids think of it so far....or if they are getting it. Agree how well done the manipulation of Kora was done. Chris

My god this show is awesome! First glimps of adult Soka, Toph, and Aang too. Don't know why but this Villian really disturbs me. Now I have to wait another week to see more. Chris

Looks fantastic so far. Looks like they are focusing on the central fuselage ATM. Looking forward to seeing the refined CAD for the nacelles, wings, and Stabs. Chris

Another good episode. This series seems to be shaping up to be a bit more adult. So I wonder how long until Muslim groups get upset about this. The bad guy named Amon (sounds a lot like Iman), that gives speeches that stir up hate and fear and places blame on on another group for all the problems his people have. P.S. this was just an observation on my part, not trying to start a politicle debate, just noticed these parallels. Chris After this last episode, I think he has something to do with it. Chris

I think the production F-22 looks much better than the YF-22. The YF is hideous. Oh well, I remember really hoping that the 23 would be reborn like the YF-17 that became the F/A-18. As for AF stuffiness, that was proven by the order to immediately remove the Red marking on the bottom when they saw it.......give me a break. Maybe that was when the decided they wouldn't select the 23! Lol Chris

Great film! I've heard that before, though, that while the YF-22 is a damn good aircraft, the 23 was superior. I think it boiled down to costs and the 23 would be more expensive.... Something like that. Chris

Thanks Tochiro....that was more or less why I asked the question because I was hoping he was wrong. This is the first bleary from Japan I will be buying and am very glad to here it is getting a top notch treatment. Chris

Are official release English subs good though, I have a friend at work that says that official release subs can be "iffy" and sometimes are even worse than some HK subs. Chris
