Haha, just edited my original post with that hypothesis as well! "In some of the battroid pictures you can make out the missiles and they are not folded up or anything. Maybe these missiles need to fold to allow for a step in the transformation and then are unfolded when the step is complete." Chris

Been drooling over the pictures on yamato's site and noticed something. It looks like the conformal missiles on the main fuselage are hinged...I wonder why? None of the other missiles look like them You can see what looks like a brass pin for a hinge or something here In some of the battroid pictures you can make out the missiles and they are not folded up or anything. Just got my book. I'm very happy with it and like it a lot. Did notice that they are missing a cannon squadron in the back or in any photo's...the Bunny squadron, Skull squadrons sister squadron on the Asuka II during the events of Mac 0. The book is REALLY making me want Hasegawa to rerelease their VF-0 and SV-51 models. Chris

Well, I was going to cancel my preorder due to cost....but now I think I'll just cancel the YF-29 and 171 fast packs instead. This looks fantastic! Chris

While I like the purple tint better, I too preferred the old yellow to the new color but it's not bad though. Biggest disappointment, for me, is that they still aren't putting skulls on the v. Stabs. Chris

I like the movie too. From what I remember reaction to the movie was so so. As for models, unfortunately none where made...not even Yamato herself. Kind of sucks. Yeah, maybe their way of "editing" the video so they could still play it. Earlier it said it was private and couldn't be viewed, but now it's up. I agree, though, that music was a poor choice though. Chris
