I know, and the extra amazing thing is that Batman Begins was his next movie after the Machinist! Gal is hands down beautiful, but I agree she needs to bulk up a bit for WW. Just get some more meat on her bones to add to the curves a bit. Azrael mentioned Faora....she had, IMO, the right physique. Hopefully they can get Gal there too. Chris

Saw this on another forum and thought it was quite funny. Thought I'd share. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kGxnCzIHGa8&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DkGxnCzIHGa8 Chris

Holy crap! The best box art yet! Simply amazing. Chris

English subs only, no dub......pass. I'll just stick with my import bluray's. I could put up with hearing "Argo" if it was a dub but won't with subs that read "Argo" when the characters will be clearly saying "Yamato." Chris

Saw it yesterday with my family. We all liked it a lot. The singing/songs during the first third or maybe half, to me, seemed a bit excessive...meaning... It seemed like it kept happening instead of having actual dialog. I will admit, though, that I may have felt that way because I'm not a big fan of musicals and didn't know this was an "old-school" Disney musical movie. The songs did lesson a bit though as the movie progressed. A few of the songs are quite catchy too, my favorites being "Let it go" and the snowman's summer song. I think once I accepted it for what it is, a musical, I enjoyed it more. Or maybe, like I said before, they eased off on the singing as the movie progressed. Curious what others thought Quasi spoiler: I also liked what the "gesture" was. Definitely a different take on what it usually is in these movies. End spoiler: Chris

Which type of Krylon do you guys use? They have different types IIRC. Chris

I believe it was because Geor and his fleet were considered deserters by the new leaders like Admiral Dietz ect. The Wolf joined with Dietz's new regime and was merely taking out a "traitor." Plus he was already shown to have a dislike for the bigoted nature of a lot of Blue-skinned "natural" Garmilas that formed the old regime, so he probably had no problem joining Dietz's new government. Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
Dobber replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I agree with that, in fact I found the length of the final battle/battles to be my biggest complaint with the movie, and can agree that with that much time being used why not show more effort being taken to protect people. Though, as CoryHolmes stated, this could be considered his BIG learning experience. Chris- 442 replies

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
Dobber replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Agreed. Plus the alien technology couldn't be used to "jail" Zod. They have already shown that Kryptonions tech was just as "weak" to the yellow sun infused Kryptonians as earth structures are. Examples; Clark crushing the security droid that was attacking Lois, Clark blasting a whole in Zods mothership to escape, Supes flying through Zods shp and then using his heat vision to destroy it before he shot down the C-17. Look, is it a perfect movie? No....none are, and if someone doesn't like it that's fine as everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think some of the arguments used to trash the movie are unwarranted. Plus, I don't get the he kills Zod in could blood when he is saving a family from being incinerated by a homicidal monster, but say crushing athe hand of a now human Zod and then throwing him into an abys is no big deal. Particularly when that film has a far more light hearted tone. At least MoS showed how it hurt Supes to make that choice. Superman II, he didn't even bat an eye. Chris- 442 replies

I would also ask when exactly did Supes have time to talk to the military to draw Zod out or the other Kryptonions? The first part of the battle had him tied up on the other side of the planet. He immediately flew back and took out Zod in the ship before he could shoot down the C-17. Then saves Lois after the phantom zone was created. They thought all was well and the Zod reappears and tells him essentially "you know what, mother f*ker. I'm going to kill as many of your precious humans as I can when I'm done with you" and then attacks him. If Supes disengaged Zod, to try and lead him out of the city, sort of like how Reeve's Superman just flew away after his rumble, Zod would've just started killing the civilians. That was the impression I was clearly left with. Chris- 442 replies

This makes me laugh too. People rage over Sups killing Zod...when in this instance he was left with little choice if any, and hold the old The Reeves era movies to high levels, when he flat out MURDERS a defeated and powerless Zod at the end of superman 2. Chris- 442 replies

After looking at the play Arts figures, I didn't realize that it is more than just a recolor between the classic colored 1.0 and the Black colored 3.0, but the armor is different as well. The 1.0 is so much better looking in both color and style than the 3.0. The 1.0 just looks more robotic to me with the more narrow waist and more angular parts. Chris

That picture is awesome because it looks like it is holding a knife, reverse style, due to the angle of the wing and where the hand is. Very cool optical illusion, with the black 19 looks awesome IMO.Chris

I thought the same thing...in fact I thought it WAS the nose section of the Mave Yukikaze until I read the description and then looked closer. LolChris

Yay! It arrived! It looks awesome! I agree it is very tight, the left leg was REALLY hard to rotate during transformation. Chris

If that's the case, I'd be even more annoyed because they sent me a shipping notice when it didn't actually ship. At any rate, I just need to be more patient....I just want my CF!! Lol! Chris
