    Thanks William and yes I'll be adding the decals still. I'll probably add just a touch more weathering over them so they don't stand out too much and to fix any loss in the subtle weathering. I usually add decals after weathering....weird I know...so I can fix any mistakes I may make. Plus, I always worry about washes and pastel chalks (which I use mostly in my weathering) bringing out the edges of the decals. So far all the weathering here has been done with pencils and pastel chalk. Chris

    Progress shots on Yamato. Here is the weathered port side lower hull. Still more to do but I want to give it a day so I won't go too far and over do it....gives me some perspective Here are som pictures of my modified Cosmo Zero Hangar. I add the folded external doors that are just under the upper deck. They actually have the correct dog tooth pattern on their under side but it is really hard to see due to how the doors fold. I tried to follow how the work as shown in the "EARTH" art book. I also added the slanted hull section next to the turret as that was missing in the upgrade sets and just had the bulkhead sticking out from the turret. I also did the best I could with partition wall the separates Alpha 1 and 2 but do to the nature of how these parts go together it was quite difficult to get in there and fix the seem. Chris

    Thanks guys, just did the other side today. Once the clear coat is dry, I'll mask off and start on the red Ventral surfaces. Derex, is that a Monster? Looks cool! Chris

    Hi guys, here is my 1/500 Yamato build in progress. Been working on the hull weathering. Trying to replicate the worn look of some builds I've seen online. Plus I'd imagine with all Yamato went through plus in and out of atmospheres, nebula, etc she'd get a bit worn looking. Also liked the paneling that was on the slip jackets of the last few blu-ray releases. Remember, still working on her. All assemblies are built just not on the hull yet so I can easily work on them.     I didn't mind the second film so much....BUT.....the cargo ship crew being eaten thing was just stupid beyond all belief. How was the entire crew eaten by a Tyrannosaur that was locked in the cargo hold. Even if every single person went in there, how was at least one person eaten on the bridge, so his hand was still on the helm, by a giant Rex, and the bridge still be intact? Chris

    Did the Japanese not like the major story changes in their adaptation? Maybe that could account for the Luke warm reception? Chris

    The Star Wars visual dictionary shows that the Eye Lenses are some form of sensor. Maybe Luke's line about not being able to see was due to it not fitting correctly? Or not being tailored to him possibly? Chris

    It looked like they where going back to their roots at the end of the last season. Here's to hoping. Last season did get better towards the end of the season when they started going to Central America....but like I said earlier I wasn't thrilled with the Archer vice thing. Pretty much the first half of the season was just OK for me. Chris
