    That's because that fan rendering is missing the lower "housing" that is just next to the engine on the lower wing. They put on the upper wing correctly but they forgot the lower one. It's where the main landing gear go.Anyways, I really like the new and old X-wing. To hate it is your preferences, (not just you Chronicidal) but it's kind of silly to forgive the original designs...."sins"....but not this ones. In some cases it just seems like more JJ bashing. Also, I'd like to point out, at NO time in the original trilogy was it ever stated that the s-foils opened to provide any sort of heat disapation. That is just fan conjecture. It was only done to look cool. Physical stresses, aerodynamics, ect have always been way out of control in the Star Wars universe. Everything was just made to look cool, and I personally think the new X fits the bill nicely. If you guys don't like it that's fine, but some of these reasons are just silly. Chris

    That's what I was thinking. Loved the sparkling effect but the "pay off" at the end was a bit of a let down. Need to be a very bright white. Chris

    I wouldn't say it was finished, it was fully armed and operational. I "think" the intention was that it would look like the original Death Star, but the Empire had it ready to fight early for the trap.Some sources have the DS2 MUCH larger than twice as large. Chris

    Finally got around to watching the Flash mid-season finale. Loved it! After ready your theories, here is my take... That's what I think is going on. Wells has been protecting Barry too much to be the Villian IMO. Chris

    Question for you you guys hat have seen it more than once or can just remember. What was the point of Matt Damon's character, and the others who left with him, mission? They were just supposed to go out into the unknown, hopefully find a planet that would be inhabital and just land and wait for a hopefull retrieval? If the planet they would land on showed promise they would send out a "ping" but if not then what? "Oh well, thanks for trying, but your fraked" because the couldn't go anywhere else?? Why not just send robots instead? I honestly can't remember if this was discussed more in the movie but I've been wondering about it lately. Chris

    Liked them a lot too. During the Flash episode I thought the Dr. Wells said "BATMAN deals out brutal justice" when he and Joe were talking to Barry about the differences between him and the Arrow...but he only said "THAT MAN". Got all giddy for a sec. Lol! Chris

    Oh dear Lord!Though, they did get the explosions wrong. Bay's preferred explosions always have the firework sparklers shooting out of them. Chris

    If this is the one you are referring to then yes it is a fan trailer. Not too bad either but not a real one. It has no actual footage in it. The image of older Luke is an edit of an image of Mark Hamill at the Hobbit premier.
