  1. Admitidly, one you never see one of them except from behind, but he is still listed in the credits. The other you do get a good look at though.
  2. Yup great short. Just don't like the music. Chris
  3. So can you guys name the 2 Trek alumni that are in The Last Starfighter? Chris
  4. Lol, I keep watching that fan trailer....man I love this movie and that fan trailer I thin ink does the movie justice without giving everything away the way many trailers do these days. Chris
  5. I absolutely ADORE this movie. I will admit, I would like to see this movie with updated effects. Though some of the shots of the Gunstar still hold up today IMO. watching one of the special feature docu's on the BluRay, they stated that they originally wanted to show maneuvering thrusters firing ect, but due to the lack of time available they had to tone done most of the shots. A few, though, still look gorgeous....particularly the shot of the Gunstar when the death blossom panels are closing after it's Attack. That looks perfect. The Gunstar is also one of my favorite sci-fi fighters of all time. Chris
  6. I liked legacy also. I loved Uprising, and got a friend at work to watch it as he was skeptical about it and didn't care much for Legacy. He ended up loving Uprising and brought new layers to legacy for him that he ended up liking more because of uprising. Chris
  7. I wouldn't get too excited about Rogue One being about Rogue Squadron just yet. Rogue 1 means something specific to us fans but it may be something completely different to Disney. Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping for "Star Wars Top Gun" but wouldn't be surprised if it's not and is just the mission name or an agents code name or something. Just not jumping to any conclusions just yet. Chis
  8. Personally, I thought Krell was missed opportunity. I felt the writers took the easy way out by making him what they did in the end instead of just being a hard nosed Jedi. It would've played to the Order 66 angle very nicely, with the troops feeling betrayed by the Jedi ect. Chris
  9. Link doesn't work for me.
  10. That was what I was referring to, I LOVE the design of Star Destroyers...but the Rebels series versions look too simplified and characitureish. The smooth trenches, you mentioned and the elongated necks for the superstructure just look wrong to me. Chris
  11. I just wish they'd update the Star Destroyer animation. Chris
  12. This is more telling.... "72-year-old Ford is a longtime aviator -- piloting planes and helicopters -- and has crashed multiple times in the past. " Most pilots don't crash once, much less multiple times! Chris
  13. Loved the finale! The show really grew on me. Started as ok but definately got better as the season progressed....same as the Clone Wars did for me. The show really doesn't take place all that long before ANH...the episode that had Empire Day said it was the 15th Aniversary of the Empire so maybe we'll see more of the larger rebellion forming next season. Luke was what....17 or 18 in ANH, only 2 more years till those events then....if that is correct. Chris
  14. Hey! An accurately proportioned figure for once! Chris
  15. From dictionary.com http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/mature Mature: "intended for or restricted to adults, especially by reason of explicit sexual content or the inclusion of violence or obscene language: mature movies." If you guys don't like the short that's fine...honestly I could take it or leave it...but now some of you are reaching new highs on what to bitch about....complaining about how I titled the thread. Lol. Chris
  16. Made by the same guy who did the Thomas Jane Punisher short film More info here: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/GraphicCity/news/?a=115730 Chris
  17. Yeah, if the 1/72 Falcon isn't messed with I'll probably grab one f the price is reasonably cheaper than when it was Fine Molds. Chris
  18. It also looks like the DYRL version has extra turrets on the sides of the forward bow where the TV version does not. Chris
  19. Yeah I know, wasn't arguing...just lamenting their (bandai's) obvious decision to abandon the 1/72 line. Chris
  20. True, regarding the 1/1000 line...but considering the majority of the 1/1000 line are Garmilla ships there are several fighters and attack ships from the Garmilla that can be done in 1/72....6 IIRC not counting recolor releases for different squadrons ect like what was done for the Zero and Falcon releases. Then there are the Type 100 scout plane (at least 2 possible release color/variants) and the Cosmo Seagull for earth. Releasing 1 a month, similar to what they did with the 1/1000 line, would give them nearly a year....if not a full year counting variant duplicates.......of releases.Chris
  21. So I'm guessing Bandai is done with the 1/1000 - 1/72 ship/vehicle porn that we have been enjoying for a few years. . It was fun while it lasted Chris
