I've seen it twice now and really enjoyed it. As a big dinosaur fan, I also really appreciated the line by Dr. Wu explaining why the dinosaurs look the way they do. Comparing this movie with JP is unfair as JP had the advantage of the wow factor since nothing like it was seen before. Kind of like one of the themes in JW, people have just become use to the spectacle. JP didn't have that disadvantage. Chris

From what I've learned it sounds like an extreme reaction to a THEORY. Jeez. Chris

I couldn't remember if Arya had her sight back or not, but she really didn't do much else....just the whole Cat of the Canals thing which she sort of did already anyway. Sam's journey was completely different, but yes he is at the Citadel but I don't recall much happening there yet. Dany was left just as the show did, only when the Kalisar shows up Drogon is with her feeding on a Horse....but nothing happens as far as we know. Chris

Maybe they'll treat the Stork's mission as a successful prototype/trial run for the the full production combat version. Chris

The slender figure is also FAR more accurate than that rediculous "pin-up" style first figure. If that's what you like, that's fine....but it deffinately didn't make it a more accurate figure. Chris

William, that looks awesome! TBH, I wasn't sure about how it was looking, at first, but after you put that light coat of blue on in the last pictures it really pulled together. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Chris

Bandai to release Star Wars Model kits
Dobber replied to Wiz13688's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
This is disturbing news. Reported by the site admin at SSM: "I should have a very limited number of XWings at WF, if this last box gets here in time. They may be the last ones I can get .... apparently, Bandai is being forced to take "steps" to ensure "Japan-only" licensed goods stay in Japan." And then... "What I am told is that Bandai may end up having to require the distributors that buy from them to pledge they will not sell these kits outside japan, and distributors who don't make that pledge will be cut off. That being the case, HLJ wouldn't be able to get them to sell to you." If this is the case, this will REALLY suck as there are no good kits here in the U.S. Chris- 188 replies

Agree, the scene I mentioned before and everything that led up to it was just so heartbreaking. I thought the actor did a great job with that scene And how the episode just ends with the persons screams as the car moves down the tube. The show really did have great moments. I think I'm going to watch it again Chris

YES!! B5 is incredible! I agree that seasons 2 and 3 are the best. Season 1 is little rough at the start but lays the foundation and is definitely needed. Season 4 as was said is a little rushed but is still great. A certain characters....awakening...in the transport tube on Mars, and realizing what was done was one of my favorite moments on the show. I agree that that will most likely be the way it plays out in the show, BUT, the only problem I see is that it is not Arya. Jon had a special relationship with Arya and was very close to her. I don't think he was all that close to Sansa and always got the feeling that Sansa was like Catlyn, and didn't care for Jon or any bastard for that matter, as they were both kind of upity when it came to "low born" people. As if they where automatically bad people and "high born" people where automatically given the benefit of the doubt. Look how that has played out for both of them. Chris

In the shadowy world of drone warfare, combat unfolds like a video gameonly with real lives at stake. After six tours of duty, Air Force pilot Tom Egan (Ethan Hawke) now fights the Taliban from an air-conditioned bunker in the Nevada desert. But as he yearns to get back in the cockpit of a real plane and becomes increasingly troubled by the collateral damage he causes each time he pushes a button, Egans nervesand his relationship with his wife (Mad Men's January Jones)begin to unravel. Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, Lord of War) directs this riveting insiders view of 21st-century warfare, in which operatives fight unseen enemies from half a world away. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pcDB6OZgqzo Chris
