  1. I've read a lot of speculation about Jon warging into Ghost....but what If Jon Wargs into the Giant? In the book, the Giant was there...having a fit IIRC. Not sure where the giant is in the show, though. Warging into the Giant would certainly help him eliminate the traitors and protect his real body. Chris
  2. Making War so impersonal is a dangerous thing too. War is a terrible thing, and to be able to wage it from safety can....I don't know....desensitize us to it, which IMO, would really be bad. I can understand the pilots problem with it. I think Star Trek had an episode about something similar to this. War was being fought through simulations so ther was no destruction, but when a simulated attack happened X number of the population had to export to euthanization centers. Not the same, I know, but the concept of taking out the horror of war was there. Chris
  3. Helicopter to Helicopter, Airwolf would own BlueThunder hands down. Wouldn't even be close. However, the BlueThunder movie was far better than Airwolf. It still holds up fairly well today. Looks-wise, I like them both, but I just love the "mean" look of BlueThunder. The AirWolf pilot movie is also very good and IMO holds up pretty well today too. Too bad the rest of the show got pretty silly really quick. I'd love to see a modern take on Airwolf. Like I said the pilot would work pretty well today with only minor tweaks. Chris
  4. I'll refrase my earlier statement....the suit is fine but the cowl/mask just looks bad. The picture above doesn't even look too bad but the picture in Gakken's post #42 it just looks so strange....like his face is squished or something. The cowl deffinately needs to be fixed. Chris
  5. Yeah, I too thought Andromeda was a little undergunned for being the supposed ultimate SpaceBattleship. It deffinately needs AA protection at the very least. Chris
  6. Damn that was awesome! Chris
  7. You guys pretty much nailed it. Nothing fishy was happen ending on the Axanar side of things. People just didn't bother reading things well enough and probably really wanted their Perks right away. Delays happen, no big deal to me, they have been very good at keeping people informed. Don't want people who are interested in this to get put off by a stupid few. Chris
  8. Oh yeah!! Also an updated Cosmo Tiger II. Hope this happens. Chris
  9. Very cool! Just want to clarify the kickstarter link in the first post is old, the indiegogo link is the current one https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/star-trek-axanar/x/11444193#/story Chris Edit: I edited the first post to just have the new link in it. It has all videos and info in it.
  10. Yes, and IIRC, it will make the distribution/ organization of Perks much easier for the Axanar staff. Chris
  11. Hey guy's, just wanted to update you all on this project, in case you all forgot about it. The next pledge is underway so production can start. The last kickstarter went to cover the preproduction costs. The current campaign is for filming. Nearly there for the first part of it. If you want to see an new short scene for the movie it is available on the new page here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/star-trek-axanar/x/11444193#/story Hope you all are still interested in this as I am. Chris
  12. People are just dumb.... Lol I will give the show credit.....they have been MUCH more subtle about Jon than the books were. Though all the clues are still there, they're just not "beat you over the head with it" like books one and two where. I wonder if we would have still noticed it if we hadn't read the books? Chris
  13. I posted pictures of it already in the SDCC 2015 thread....but it was quickly ignored. Chris
  14. Yeah, I don't understand how that description has anything to do with The Last Starfighter? Doesn't sound like a remake but, rather, a continuation in the universe with nothing or little to do with what was seen in TLSF. Chris
  15. I hope so....though I'm looking at the lower wing. It appears to be awfully wide and also the blaster mounts don't appear to have a way to cohabitate when the wings are closed. Again, I hope I'm wrong but something looks off to me. Chris
  16. It looks like they are just using a slightly modified (intakes, thrusters, and canopy) older release for Poe's X-wing. The s-foils look like they still open the old way ie laying on top of each other instead of resting level with each other front to back. That's disappointing. Chris
  17. Awesome catch Duke! I always thought that a prequel season or mini-series would do well to show the events that lead up to Roberts Rebellion. Chris
