  1. I am a Star Trek fan...and....gasp...a Star Wars fan. I just like sci-fi/sci-fantasy period. I liked the rebooted/alternate universe by JJ well enough. Yes there are issues with them that my Trek fan side has problems with...but I still overall enjoyed them. I agree with what some others have said about the Berman and Braga era. Has some good but also has ALOT of bad. The cheese factor was strong with them. I would like a more "Cerebral" approach to Trek that can still incorporate some action too..which was what I was hoping was coming....but this trailer.....egads. I just did not like what I'm seeing...or more appropriately....I did not like how it was presented. Maybe this would have worked as a trailer AFTER the movie was released, but certainly not as our first look at it. Chris
  2. I'm inclined to agree. The upper fuselage is a jig-saw puzzle that leaves many gaps around very small detail that is VERY difficult to fix without losing said detail. All because BANDAI insist is on making the fuselage stripe in color instead of just using a decal or sticker like the wing markings. It's idiotic. Chris
  3. I sure do! I was being so careful watching out for spoilers too. Then I was excited to get my hands on the soundtrack and BAM! Major spoiler. Man was I pissed. Chris
  4. The other extra Lucas was talking with was his daughter. His son was also a Jedi padawan...I think it was the kid that was fighting his way out of the Temple and was gunned down in front of Bail Organa. Chris
  5. It's an incredible series. I just have to watch the last episode still. I've read the synopsis of the book and can see.....and I've also heard....that there are differences between the book and the series. I'm curious where the split in history happened. Did we still enter the war the same way and just lost it? Or did events before the war change how we entered the war thus leading to our downfall, as it was in the book? Very curious about this world. It's very scary. Chris
  6. I agree to a point. In this trailers case I don't see what the big deal is....but for a movie like the Sixth Sense, I definately wouldn't want to be spoiled. Some twists are important to not be spoiled. BvS, IMO, is not one f them. Chris
  7. While I agree this TRAILER is not nearly as good as Cap's or the SW's trailers, and I don't really care for the music in it either....I DO still think this movie looks good. I know that is an unpopular opinion around here, but there you have it. Don't worry, I really liked MoS too. Chris
  8. Nice video! "Let history never forget the name.....Enterprise." Chris
  9. I know right! I posted how much I'm loving the "exterior" X-wing shots they've shown in a couple trailers, on another board I frequent. The one you posted and the other one with the X-wings rolling into their target. The shot you posted reminds me of box art from an old board game from West End Games. Chris
  10. I was thinking the same thing, but after giving it more thought....maybe he see's how reckless he's been, particularly after AoU, by just doing what he wanted...I believe Cap and Banner where saying as much to him. So now he's willing to toe the line because he sees what his lack of accountability brought. Chris
  11. Do the S.H. Figuarts Star Wars figures typically become available after release? I really want a Phasma, FO Stormtrooper, and Kylo Ren. These damn things sold out the night they appeared much like Bandai's Valks. Chris
  12. Damn, that does look good. AoU was just ok for me, LOVED Winter Soldier though. Curious, do any other hero's join Starks side in the comics? Look like it was just him and War Machine vs everyone else. Chris
  13. No they really aren't. It will be interesting to see how they will pair with each other...especially when Netflix gets around to making the Defenders. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the first ep. of JJ, and am looking forward to watching more, it's just DD wowed me within the first 5min before the title even roled. I also appreciated the fact that DD didn't seem to use the "sex sells" ideal that most cable shows stoop to, to be "edgy" and JJ SEEMS to be going there...at least in the first ep. That being said, I'm looking forward to watching more tonight. Glad to hear the tension continues to build as the series continues, it did get really good by the end of the first ep. Chris
  14. I watched the first episode tonight. I'm definitely intrigued and like what I've seen so far, BUT, I gotta disagree with Mr. March.... at least so far. I liked Daredevil much better right out of the gate. Chris
