  1. Wait, are you saying that there are 2 seperate Marvel Cinematic Universes? Not counting Fox's Deadpool/X-men universe of course. I thought DareDevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, AoS ect where all in the Main MCU. I know there are seperate heads of development but they still are in the same universe. DD references the events of the Avengers and some of the themes in JJ seem like they would really play well into what we are seeing in Civil War, i.e..."people are scared" I apologize if I miss understood you. Chris
  2. Lol! You know I actually was thinking that too. My idea/theory would be similar to what they did in the Young Indie Chronicles show. Have Ford be reminiscing or researching something in his present that is tied to something that happened when he was younger....perhaps to what he was doing during WWII. This would give the opportunity for someone to step in as the "New" Indie that was rumored, while still giving Ford a chance to play him one more time and sort of pass the torch. Chris
  3. Actually, I mainly remember him from OZ. his character and performance still haunt me. Chris Edit: forgot I already said that....oops
  4. Thanks for the info! It sounds like Vol.1 is more of what I'd want...though it is unfortunate it is missing the Cosmo Falcon I didn't really care for the Gatlantis ships, so I'll probably pass on Vol. 2 though I REALLY like it's cover art. Chris
  5. I see there was this mechanical book as well released this past summer http://www.amazon.co.jp/宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199-艦艇精密機械画集-HYPER-MECHANICAL-DETAIL-ARTWORKS/dp/4800004837/ref=pd_sim_14_4?ie=UTF8&dpID=61%2BGu1-5d2L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR113%2C160_&refRID=1B1JWJJNVDXMJ70JHKVN Is the new book a part 2? Amazon.jp has som page previews and it is making me wonder if it is just covering the Celestial Ark movie. Any info on either book. I'm more hesitant now. Chris
  6. Yeah, Simmons is a fantastic actor.....though ever since I saw him on OZ he scares me. I have a hard time resolving that character from him. I guess that's a testament to his acting. Chris
  7. Now THAT's an update to Andromeda I like and hope for. Chris
  8. O - M - G!!! Yes! I will need that book too! Please let us know when it pops up! Chris
  9. Which is a shame too, I LOVED the How to Train Your Dragon movies. One of the reasons I was kind of down on Toy Story 3 was because everyone forgot about HTTYD that year which I felt was the superior movie. Chris
  10. I loved it! Honestly, I think it is a little more for adults than kids. I liked it more than Inside out....but I usually like the ones that are less popular and just think "meh" for the ones that most people go gaga over like Inside Out, Frozen, Toy Story 3 ect. Chris
  11. Cool thanks for the info I was hoping the pics of the cowling area might help. Unfortunately the head on shots that would've given better pics of the engine didn't come out well due to the sun's position at the time. Chris
  12. I remember the pilot telling me there was something significant about the 190 when I was talking to him, maybe it being the only flying one in the states...I wish I could remember. Here are the rest of my pictures of the Butcher-bird. Some more Spitfire I have more but they are just slight variations of the ones already posted. Chris
  13. Yes, I will echo the Love for the Spitfire, and also any fan of military aviation or the Spitfire should not need an introduction to who Bader was. I had the great opportunity to finally see a Spitfire and an actual FW-190 this past year at my airport. They were fly past enrout to Virginia beach and made a fuel stop here. Got to walk out from the tower and take lots of pictures of the 2 up close without any crowds around. It was really special to me seeing these 2 great warbirds together and up close. The 190 even had the spastic a on the tail. I have some cockpit pics to if anyone is interested. Chris
  14. Kingsmen maybe, most people crapped on it until they saw it. Chris
  15. Taking my kids to see it tomorrow, looking forward to it. The one thing I don't get or is bugging me about the advertising for this movie is how they keep hitting on the "In Zootopia, animals are just like people!" Trope like it is something new. Cartoons have done this for decades, why are they acting like it is some big thing now? Chris
  16. I agree. I personally didn't care about the Female ghostbuster cast...this trailer was just a huge let down and not funny. So of course that means I can't be objective and I only disliked it because I'm a sexist. 🙄Chris
  17. I know what you are saying Kelsain and agree with your observations. We all have different tolerances/cut-off lines for how much we can tolerate. So I don't hold it against anyone, for some reason I can just forgive a lot of the "science" flaws in Star Wars more than other franchises. Maybe because it is more Fantacy than anything else and like you said the Originals had just as many flaws...we just tend to over look those. Where as Trek's issues with space travel, beaming distance, and ship size really did bug me. If the story or acting was bad, I'd probably be less forgiving....I know people do have issues with TFA story but I didn't. I agree, though, that hopefull Johnson will deliver something more original. I am really glad the hand thing was dropped. When I first read that rumor a year or two ago, it filled me with dred. Chris
