  1. You know, I didn't even pay attention to that. I made mine with the V. Stab that has the white on the leading edge. Chris
  2. This is the one I got and just built. Putting in the engine turbines was so freaking irritating. The are side specific, which is understandable of course, BUT the left one goes in completely differently than the right side. It was so stupid and hard to get in! Chris
  3. Just passed the half way mark! Thanks to any of you that have pledged. I hope it can make it to some stretch goals, I'd love to see what other figures he'll do. Chris
  4. I know what your saying, but hat's been my concern about the MCU as well. Especially since they all SEEM to be centered in NY. The Netflix characters are even more narrowed by all being in the NEIGHBORHOOD of Hell's Kitchen. Chris
  5. I'm going to use the 1/72 kit bases and Turbo Lazer tower with some of the new 1/144-ish x-wings....once these little kits become more readily available and more affordable, those damn things are almost as much as the 1/72 kits on Amazon! Chris
  6. Whoa, that's great news! I surprised when Marvel/Netflix originally said they weren't going to make a punisher series. Glad they had a change of heart. Chris
  7. I'm a little surprised that in this day and age of multiple Trailers, they haven't released a new trailer yet. Especially when the current one is pretty much universally disliked. No damage control has been attempted. Hopefully something soon. Chris
  8. Very nice! Chris
  9. Glad some of you guys are interested. Please help spread the word so this can get funded. Chris
  10. Pricing is all listed in the link I provided. $35 +shipping for 1 $100 for 3. The link also indicates if this successful, he plans on doing more Dino's, with what looks like Ceratopsians next year. Chris
  11. Not all dinosaurs were feathered. The Coelurosaurs, which include the Dromeosaurs and Tyrannosaurs, were the ones that had the feathered Dinosaurs. Carnosaurs, like Allosaurus, Giganatosaurus, ect were likely the classic "lizard" looking dinosaurs you are used to. It took me some time to get use to feathered Dino's, but I'm really on board now. Looking at how awesome modern Birds of prey are make me appreciate how cool their ancient ancestors could have looked. Chris
  12. I Love Deinonychus too, but a 1/6 would be pretty darn big. Here is a 1/5 scale kit I built this past fall and it's a big kit. Chris
  13. Hey guys, just wanted to bring this to your attention. If you love Dinosaurs like I do and I know many of you like articulated figures, these figures may be right up your alley. If you guys like, please consider helping out the Kickstarter to make these figures get made. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/992645470/beasts-of-the-mesozoic-raptor-series-action-figure/description Chris
  14. What?? Oberyn wasn't assassinated. Like Duke said he had the Mountain beaten but then he got sloppy and didn't finish the downed Mountain and got to close to him while not paying attention to him. Chris
  15. I noticed that too. Not really digging the Dorne storyline at all. I can't remember her name...the Main Dornish antagonist...but her motivations are just nuts...admittedly maybe that's the point but... Oberyns Sister is raped and both she and her child are murdered by the Mountain, presumably by order of the Lannisters. Ok good reason to want blood...I'm on board. But then she starts talking about Oberyn needing to be avenged and how he was murdered or some such....uh...what? He volunteered for Trial by Combat and lost fair and square....and let's be honest Oberyn wasn't playing fair either since he probably poisoned his spear. She shouldn't cry fowl just because it didn't go her way. So anyway her plan to avenge and honor Oberyn, is to murder his remaining legitimate family...brother and nephew? I'm all for the Lannisters getting theirs but this crazy women needs to go. Also didn't Oberyn make a point of saying they don't murder children in Dorne or something like that. So what does she do? She murders a girl and a boy. Kind of sloppy writing IMO. Like I said, not really liking what they are doing with the Dorne story arc. Chris
  16. Funny, I was actually a little disappointed by it. It definitely wasn't bad but...... I fully admit, it may just be because I'm use to knowing what is more or less going to happen and this is the first time I have no clue. The whole episode, though, I just wanted them to get to it because I want my answers! Chris
  17. For those asking about the type of plastic, it seems like standard plastic model styrene. I used 3 different glues on my Su-37: standard Testors model cement, gorilla glue (CA glue), and also tried Tamiya extra thin cement. The Tamiya glue didn't work so well, probably due to being so thin, but I liked that it uses a brush applicator as the parts are so small and my old faithful Testors tube cement tended to come out too thick. I really not used to building in such a small scale. I HOPE the kits ARE interchangeable after assembly but, as I said, the standard aircraft kits are not. You have to choose if you want to build with gear up or down, air brake open or closed, type of engine nozzle, weapons, ect. Once built, there is no going back. That aspect was a little disappointing to me. Also, at least on the Su-37, the gear up option's main gear door's fit is not that great and are in 2 pieces instead of one long piece which would make it so much easier. Like I said earlier, these are not THAT simplified kits...to assemble that is. Chris
  18. So I just got a Tomy Tech Su-37 from HLJ. I will say that these are gorgeous little kits.....BUT.......I was wrong in my assumptions as to what these are. What they are, are straight up model kits. I was thinking you would be able to swap gear from extended and retracted, or swap out engine nozzles ect....but you can't. These are not Plamo's, my Su-37 requires glue to assemble, so you need to pick how you want to build your model. Unless their Macross kits are different, then the Gerwalk kit is a rip-off because they are making you buy 2 kits to make one, but you won't be able to disassemble the kit after it is made....so it's a waste. All done so THEY don't have to package a 3rd box with just Gerwalk parts. Also, the Su-37 is not a small fighter by any means, and it is pretty small in 1/144, so I can only imagine how tiny the little VF-1 will be. That is a little scary as these kits are not THAT simplified and I had a little trouble with the kit and I am an experienced modeler. I now understand why HLJ show's these as skill level 3 kits. Chris
  19. Ok thanks The production images on HLJ only show Gerwalk and not the other 2 so I was a little confused. Chris
  20. Ok so I understand these are model kits of individual modes, but I'm not understanding why the Gerwalk kits are so expensive. Is it because it has both the Fighter and Battroid kits that are then parts-formed to make Gerwalk? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Chris
