  1. I thought of them too, but the problem is I don't think she completely trusts them...or at least not to the level she did with Selmy. Plus Selmy served her family as Kings Gaurd. That put him in a unique position to give, to her, an unbiased interpretation of what happened leading up to and the rebellion itself. Tyrion, disputed what he has done is still a Lannister and Vary's is too sneaky for his own good. Maybe she'll listen to them if and when the time comes, but I think they'll have a harder time of it than Selmy would've. Chris
  2. I'm not even sure if she is an antagonist...or rather supposed to be seen like one. It's more of....I don't know....possibly a plot hole so to speak...in the writing of her character that she is becoming a hypocrite. If they didn't kill off Selmy she would have had someone she respected to give her wise council about Westeros, that her father was (not some great benevolent person), and really just call her out on her crap. Also, one of the video reviews I watched stated that It was also great seeing the quick glimpses of the past visions! Chris
  3. Cool to have confirmation on My wife and I were talking about Dany....I really don't think she is that much of a "good guy" she is just as in the dark about the real threat and playing the "Game of Thrones" as most others are in Westeros who we keep saying are too busy with that crap to see the real threat. She wants power to have power....but mainly.....she wants to set the Dothraki loose on Westeros. This is the main thing I have a problem with Danaerys. She frees slaves and wants people treated well, and yet she loves the Dothraki....the people who Murder, Rape, pillage, and enslave....just because, and she wants to set them loose in Westeros. To tear down their Stone houses ect. The Dothraki are horrible people and I get wanting to USE them as an army, but they stand for everything Danaerys supposedly hates. What does she plan on doing about them....how is she going to protect her "subjects" from the horde? Chris
  4. Fully agree...or even use Ricardo Montoban's likeness in stasis. Making Cumberbatch just an enhanced human wanting to save his "father" figure of Kahn would've bookended the Kirk story with Pike quite nicely too. Then all we would've needed to fix would be the cross-Galaxy beaming and travel times and the movie wouldn't be half bad IMO. Chris
  5. Benhands. I read a theory somewhere that Benjen was also marked and that is why he has not returned to the wall because it would allow the Whitewalkers through. Chris
  6. Well I did post the 3rd ship in the post just above yours. As for the Andromeda, I did not see that in the link provided, for some reason only the Yamato and the other ship show when I open the links on the page. Chris
  7. The cannon turrets look like Gatlantis designs though. In case anyone wants to see what we are talking about here is a screen grab from the link Chris
  8. I think Tormund would like even more if Brieanne kicked the crap out of him. Lol! Chris
  9. I should've replied to this thread. So is that a Gatlantis Battleship? I agree about the Yamato sketch, the proportions look off for the 2199 design of the ship, much more Original series, but that is hopefully just due to it being a concept art sketch by hand rather than the CG the actual show uses. Chris
  10. I got a kick out of Brianne, when talking with Sansa about the trustworthiness of the people around them, when she specifically had a problem with...the one with the beard. I don't normally ship people.....but I totally ship those 2. Lol Also, I wonder what Brianne will think of Tormond, after she see's him fight? Chris
  11. I can't remember, does Bran know that Rob and his mother are dead? Chris
  12. Apparently it it was. http://screenrant.com/games-thrones-hold-door-hodor/ Chris
  13. I now believe it is a Colony/Starbase that is being attacked and not Earth, thank God. I actually really like the concept of the base too. Ships enter/depart through that Airlock apparatus that is seen early in the trailer. Inside the main globe, there is atmosphere and essentially a city that like any other base or ship would use artificial gravity, but ships "docked" inside the bubble, off the surface, would still be Zero-g and could be worked on without space-suits ect. Pretty neat. Wink Chris
  14. Here is the Franklin if you are interested. I'm surprised this wasn't posted here already....it came out months ago. Chris
  15. The only other Fed. Ship I saw is the NX looking U.S.S. Franklin. What was he 3rd? The Franklin does not look very good either,IMO, if the initial image of it is accurate. Sort of a cross between the NX and a Romulan Bird of Prey from TOS. Chris
  16. That was a much better trailer. I just hope that was not Earth being attacked....again......and it was a Federation colony or something instead. Chris
  17. Better trailer than the 1st one, but that's not saying much. Chris
  18. Man I hope the SD happens but the caption says "under approval" what does that mean? Should it say "under review for approval" or something? On some other forums I frequent people have said that this SD is not the one that has made the rounds last year at hobby shows and that this one is a little smaller, which is good to me Chris
  19. Oh yeah, your right they are 1/100. I agree it would be even better. Chris
  20. Oooh, a Vf-1 VF-1! Chris
  21. Very nice! I really wish these would've been in 1/144 scale like the YF-29 and VF-25 kits that bandai made a few years ago. There extreme small scale is the main thing that is putting me off. The Price of the Gimix kits is the hold back for them. I'll probably just wait for the Hasegawa kits. Chris
