Have you tried applying Future/Pledge polish on those loose joints to see if they help? I only have Nora, but she's not floppy like the reported Ivanov's. -

Fwiw, not everybody had their Yamato first-editions v2's experienced any shoulder-breakages at all. Mine were all first-editions and they're all still good. No fixes needed whatsoever. I'm never soft on my toys, either. And Yamato did actually offered and delivered replacements to those that experienced the "broken-shoulders" issue. Including non-Japan international customers. Especially for members here at MW. That's one of the reasons why Yamato-Toys is beloved. The same cannot be said about Bandai regarding their VF-171 CFs... -
Don't want to steal his pics, but some hk-blogger got a bunch of pics from Tamashii Nations 2016 Akiba showroom regarding GX-71 Voltron: https://howzatoy.blogspot.hk/2016/10/17.html Reckon Bandai will really deliver on SOC GoLion/Voltron...

Arise, ye olde thread! My ragtag mercs just augmented with a Stinger-LAM, and then won a hard-fought Trial of Possession for this Stone Rhino II prototype from the Jade Chickens: http://i.imgur.com/cmHmFhyl.jpg

That is pure magnificence! You must re-post this in the scale-thread, too. Wish Arcadia reissue these soon, most especially the Super Ostrich.

Can you share a pic of the tragedy?

AI is usually an amazon.us marketplace vendor, so their Voltron is most likely via Bluefin and should ship out around 1/31. You can ask them directly, tho.

My 1A got SAL delivered last week from ami rather later than usual. Why is your 1A seem even later than mine? Where did you bought it? Nah. It's not about any seniority thing to be able to participate or anything. I usually ignore insinuations and stuff, so It's all good.
-
At least, the bottom-support suggests that the claws are not sufficient enough on its own. As for effects and stuff, yeah. You could try the SHMA and SHF effects. I think the Godzilla SHMA has buildings and stuff, but I'm not sure anymore.
-
What I'm saying is that like the old Yamato-arm, the claws on this Bandai-stand also does not seem to clamp and secure the valk on the FPs on its own.
-
Yeah. As it was revealed back then, that particular Bandai stand looks rather like a wonky afterthought bootleg of the old Yamato-arm. As shown then, it was not pleasing nor ideal. At least to me. It has alot of areas that can be improved on by simple clear braces and stuff that Bandai used in the Glaug or even the Regult.
-
Yeah. I'm too poor for Arcadia's stuff to even contemplate doing that...
-
You guys just got too much disposable income and lots of free shelf space...
-
I think the HMR with FPs is light enough that gravity shouldn't be that much of an issue. Maybe just another arm-clip could do the job of securing it and making it float without requiring the bottom-support. It would prollly also eliminate the HRM backpack from easily flopping backwards.
-
Dunno if it's just blatant fanboyism, but even for HMR valks, I don't really see anything in that stand that even it as the best Macross display stand ever!!!. It has too many redundant parts and just looks clunky as heck. Why bother with the arm if it still needs that bottom anchor? Maybe Yeti already has something HMR-specific in the works...

Meanwhile... Not sure if I'm the only one, but my CF is noticeably tighter than my other previous HM-Rs (Armored-1J and Hikkie-1S). Won't ship my Hikkie-1J until next month or so, but you guys let us know if its even tighter than the CF.
