  2. The 1/60s doesn't really require you to use it to keep the backpack close, as they are quite secured. It's just an added option to do so. Not sure if this DX will or will not require the clip to secure the backpack properly, but HMR sure could very much use a clip since it ain't quite as secured and has a tendency to flop out easily.

Looks even more VF-1D now. Oughta put Minmay in there instead of Misa to complete the look, since the red on the included Minmay-figure is also miscolored and alot closer to her TV red dress than to her actual orange jumpsuit in DYRL...

  7. Higher cost and expense of doing business with foreign (Chinese?) factories and labor this time around than during the Yamato days, I'm guessing. I don't think Arcadia has the same factory-discounts and labor influence stuff like the old Yamato corp. Yamato was only about a 10yo or so company, anyway. In contrast, Bandai either pretty much owns their toy factories or they have significant discounts and influences on their both their local and foreign factories/labor since they've been in business around since at least the 70's or so.

Hmmm. Is it just the lighting on those? Rather flat To compare, the orange on the valk from inside this box pic is a bit more vivid than those: http://toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=257945&pid=7877290

  10. Bandai's prolly prodding Kawamori heavily with that concept just to give fresh life to their nascent AGP line...
  11. Thought that already happened back long time ago when the Yammie 1/60v2 was first released...
  12. Won't really matter if before or after. The new macross tv will have a hero that will gain the ability to reverse time. And will meet twin valkyries. That change into maids. That sings in duet... what?
  13. Ya know? I never noticed, but Hikkie's 1D gunpod was stored wrongly in that frame...
  14. hmmm. It actually doesn't look bad at all under normal white lighting, unlike the previous crappy Tux-valk. per TD: Rather nice deco. Might actually get one if I see it decently priced somewhere...
  15. hmmm. bizarre. from the tamashii.jp's rather funny eng-translation: http://tamashii.jp/item/12634/?wovn=en you'd think for the msrp, the missiles and stuff are included as a given...
  16. Hopefully they fix this, too: The old Yammie 1/48 had that issue, I think. The HMR also had it as well, iirc. It's like insecure tabbing or something. The Yammie/Arcadia 1/60v2 don't have that issue, iirc.
  17. Hmmm. That glaring gappiness is rather fugly. Hope it's more flushed and clean in the final version.
  18. I've long long ago ditched my old Yammie-1/48s in favor of the Yammie 1/60v2s.
  19. SRP is very nice! Much better and alot prettier purchase than any of the Frontier/Delta DX-Chogokin valks. Bandai should get the GBP armor set for it out on the same date....
  20. Looking at the poster shot, yeah. It kinda does look as flat as the old 1/55. A bit wider than the backside and protruding to seem to block the shoulders, too. A bit raised up, too. Not quite as rounded/concave-ish as the Yammie/Arcadia 1/60v2. Those side-fillers looks like a simpler copy of the yammie/arcadia option parts.
  21. Hopefully they get the remastered-version of the TV-series, as they had noticably better colors and stuff than my old CPM ammo-box dvds. Hope they also got the OVAs. At least the LRS, ROA, and SH titles.
