Not really sure what you're talking about, but I ordered it first at CDJ alongside the Kampfer. Then checked on Amz-jp and found it there. Did some quick weird math and decided I can get the 1D way way faster for about the same amount as CDJ's usual two-week sal-reg. Ditched my CDJ order and re-ordered at amz-jp. Too bad amz-jp doesn't want to ship the Kampfer to me, so I reordered that with Spike on CDJ again. Voila! Took about 5-mins in total. Checked later on ami and it's available there and just shrugged. Then somebody here mentioned Amz-jp lowered their pricing and checked mine to make sure it automatically adjusted. And it did. All stress free stuff. Check the japan-shops early this morning and all my usual shops (ami, cdj, amz-jp) have it still available. What else can I say? It's been the same process for me for all my HMRs, actually. And like I said, HMRs ain't never have the PO-madness from years past when the japan-shops go out of stock at 12:01, then stocks shows up 15/30/60/etc mins later. Sometimes randomly. All including the various cart-jacking and the circle-of-doom/blank-pages/server-crashing shenanigans. Maybe it's just venue-changing as you say. Or just maybe the bandai and the japan-shops really have more than enough stocks to satisfy most orders, and the overseas-fans simply are just over-reacting to be wanting to experience the old PO-madness years...

No idea. Don't really think it has anything to do with "mbps", but rather with whatever webscript and cloud/redundancy implementations the japan-shops are using nowadays. I also haven't ordered from hlj since whenever since their offerings are just not competitive nor enticing anymore to me. You'll prolly have much better luck with amz-jp when preordering since their ordering systems are somehow way better managed and stuff than any of the regular japan-shops. They also do have really competitive pricing and very fast shipping. At least, when they're allowed to ship the item outside japan...

I honestly never experienced any issue when preordering any of my HMRs. Amiami's have been seriously buggy since they've redesigned their english-site a few months ago, so it doesn't surprise me if some of you guys experienced issues with it last night. It's been buggy and takes multiple times to get thru even when ordering regularly and on non-po times. And they damn fully know about it, too...

Yeah. There really wasn't any so-called PO-madness with the HMR line since, I dunno, the Hikaru-1S or so. Even then, it wasn't as mad as the DX Frontier v2-valks. Most of the HMR valks are even better discounted than the PO-pricing on release-day, anyway. They'll even shelfwarm for a couple of weeks and more. Some people here seems to just keep on hyping HMR PO-madness stuff everytime, however, for some whatever reason. The only PO-madness to watch out for nowadays are usually on the Metal Build Gundams (sometimes Metal Build Mazingers, too), if you're into that stuff like the rest of far east asia-based fans (and shops/scalpers) or something, it seems...

Supposedly 3-5 days shipping from amz.jp? You haven't ordered yet from them? My amz-jp orders were usually 2-days received from japan release-date. Unless it's a weekend release, of course. Btw, SAL/SAL-Registered shipping from CDJ and other Japan-shops are usually 2-4 weeks. They are subject to USPS' own local delays, tho.

Thought the Yammie VF-19's go loosey-goosey rather quickly. Especially the ankles or something. Guess ymmv. Can't verify since I never like nor bought any of the M7 VF-19's. Yeah. Think Yamato somehow wanted to re-use their VF-19 moulds for the YF-19. Which totally sucks. Their original YF-19 design only needed some superficial stuff like eliminating/redesigning the neck-gullet and stuff. It didn't really need the new ankles and other stuff from their VF-19 mould. Oh, well.

I anticipate it'll be as solid and stable as the stabilizers on their YF19-DX...
-
Who knows? Maybe Bandai will sell such DX-1D Minmay figure totally separately like the upcoming DX-1J missiles...
-
Unsurprising, really. Shouldn't really even cost 2000y to add to the SRP just to include them. They did a similar shenanigan with the 4300yen GX-70VS TWE crap, when all they had to do was include the usual tiny Hover Pilder to the regular GX-70 like with all other previous SOC Mazingers...

The specs says: HMR VF-1 == 140mm HMR VF-2SS == 160mm HMR VF-4 == 150mm here's a pic from the hacchaka-blog for robot-mode: http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51991228.html The HMR VF-4 should be exactly in between them wrt height. Go back some pages and you should find some comparo-pics with other toys. Maybe even more in the pages of the scale-thread ( http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/35121-148fps-160fps-172-12k-13k1100-and-now-1144/?page=133&tab=comments#comment-1430800 Not sure about fighter-mode at the moment. I used to have some fighter-pics comparo at imgur, but I've shut down that acct.

N-Y's already scalping it, eh? Geezus...

Not sure if already known, but Bandai DX-1J LE official release-date is 12/29/18: https://tamashii.jp/item/12634/

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)

Yeah. Needs eye-patch, tho... -
Maybe Bandai's just saving the actual Nexx pilot-figure for their probable HMR Gundam Metal Siren...
-
Bandai wants you to add a mustache as well to make it a proper Dennis...
-
Yeah. Nice and all, but Bandai still gave no frakk about the non-flushed heatshield:
-
Naked yf-19 gaps? Possibly just massaging it a bit. Except for the shield-gap. That's Bandai's bizarro design. YF-19 with FP gaps? Fuggediboutit!

That's just the old excuse about Macross stuff back in the day. It really hasn't been an issue or a bottleneck when procuring Macross stuff in at least the last two decades, mostly thanks to online-shopping and stuff. At any rate, Bandai has always had issues (mostly self-inflicted like high pricing) in the marketing and the distribution of even their non-macross toys which they have full international-rights to outside of Japan. It's not really gonna change if they suddenly have full international-rights to Macross stuff. It'll still be the same issue, just without the tired excuse of Macross trademark-issue.

Well, they actually most likely do already. Bandai just recently bought out Bluefin in the US, which might partially explain why we suddenly can't preorder-import newer Bandai-toys from amazon-japan anymore recently (HM-R, RD, SOC-FA, SOC, SHF, etc). Prior to that, they had complete control of stuff here in the US marketing/distribution during the old Gundam-days. Prolly still do. Just didn't quite work out well for them since the Gundam-stuff (kits, toys, etc) were all way overpriced and totally shelfwarming at all US retail-stores (TRU, wallys, target, game-shops, even at Bestbuy, etc). Ended up with amazon doing quite an incredible fire-sale on Gundam-stuff back in the day. Think I got a few MGs like the Kampfer for about $15 or shipped from amazon.

huh? I just went and found this: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/offer-listing/B07F3FHHY4/ Which shop(s) are you importing from? You might not find the Sylvie-VF2SS anymore coz it's long been out for a while already. add/edit: Did a quick lookaround and HMR-Nexx is still availble for PO at both ami and cdj, too.
