  1. Hopefully it's the BD version that was released in Japan some time ago, and not another one of Discotek's local upscale stuff...
  2. Not sure if you or anybody else had ever noticed, but HLJ had stopped giving generous (or even relevant) discounts some number of yeasr ago already. Sometime around '08 or thereabout. That's why most of us dont really prefer buying there anymore if stocks are good in other import shops. You can only get the rare good discounts on their semi-annual inventory cleaning or something like that. I mean, ffs, they are still trying to move/sell the stupid ET VF2FSS at its stupid pricing from when it first came out...
  3. Wait. The box on that Hikaru-1S states 1/100. Are the toys actually 1/100 or 1/55? The box could be just the usual run-of-the-mill hk counterfeit printing, so verifying the UK Reg-PP could be just futile exercise... Lol! I reckon so. I think the first time I'd ever seen a Joons locally was in its Space Gandam box. Before I'd seen their usual funky color-schemes, iirc. Didn't even know the name "Joons" and its rep back then.. .
  4. Nice find! Were these UK/EU-only? It would've been kewl if they were readily available alongside the ubiquitous Joons back in 2000s...
  5. I think the only way to trust N-Y again is for them to charge your card _AFTER ACTUAL CONFIRMED DELIVERY OF ITEM(S) TO RECIPIENT_ . Otherwise, nope...
  6. Ypsilon wonders why Bandai did not give RD Tachikoma an accessible pilot cockpit hatch feature like in the actual show...
  7. pictorial at https://hacchaka.net/archives/52069988.html samples:
  8. noticed from https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/1392621826409259008
  9. supposedly out this month, the HM-R Dragonar-1 Custom... https://tamashii.jp/item/13509/ and moar... https://tamashii.jp/item_character/dragonar/
  10. Maybe Bandai still has a glut of unsold Hayate 31J that they need to get rid of/landfill sell...
  11. Not really a price-point issue. Unlike Bandai, Arcadia just does not seem to have a general policy of extremely limited stock allocations for stores/shops (retail, online, or otherwise). It's not even just a Macross-thing. It's across almost all Bandai's toys/collectibles lines.. It's really just Bandai being Bandai.
  12. Available as an amz-jp direct preordering for Aug/2021 release: https://www.amazon.co.jp/en/dp/B07R67C6F9
  13. Arcadia 1/60 Valkyrie reissues avaiable as amz-jp direct preordering: SV-51 Ivanoff: https://www.amazon.co.jp/en/dp/B07R67C6F9/ 35th anniversary VF-1J: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07HK9MQNP If you're interested, make sure it states this:
  14. All of my VF-4s stay in forever-fighter mode. Arcadia, Yammie, HMR. I just can't make myself transform and keep any of them into non-fighter modes for more than a minute. It's such a strong mental block,,,
  15. Not really much into Obari style, but FA gonna F-A...
  16. Your premised thread title is already incorrect to my eyes and more like click-bait to me. Therefore it doesn't interest me to click and watch it, regardless if you have valid stuff in there or not. If you had titled this thread more intteresingly by starting with, i dunno, something like... how Godzilla 1954 influences anime that influenced GvK then I would've been clicking on your link right away. And, yes. Godzilla-1954 is the only Godzilla film that matters. As much as I watched and enjoyed the other Godzilla-based films, they are really pedestrian stuff compared to the original.
  17. just waiting on Arcadia's version of the 1/60v2 Super VT-1 official announcement...
  18. uhh... ok, i'll bite a little. I ain't clicking on your link,, tho. However, for some content for the forum... Nothing against GvK, but... you do know Godzilla's pedigree started back in the original 1954 film, right? It's also actually the only Godzilla film and story that really matters even today. Lots of great both sci-fi and non-scifi ideas and stuf and even classic japanese actors and performances from the film that, well, influences stuff even today. 1954, man. That's a long time ago. Most people doing anime and stuff were most likely either not even born then or were very very young kids. Think about it. You oughta (re)watch the original Godzilla film and hopefully re-appreciate it.
  19. nice as always. you really gotta pull a Tekering now and commit/convert an entire room for an awesome yammies diorama, xoxokin.
  20. I got the first-run from AE, too. I haven't ordered from them for a long time, but never had any issue with them. I was a little leery about their new shipping-fees/method. They came thru, tho. As always, I guess. Their boxes are about the same as it used to, but now they even have their logo on it. I don't recall seeing their logo from my old orders from them.. Kinda funny that I recently got an email from them about my FP order, even though they already fulfilled it way back on the first-run:
